「Six senior guys, ready for a nice place to fish, play 42, enjoy adult beverages, cooking and eating. The house was great, location terrific. On a dead end road, so very little traffic. Bonus was meeting the owner, he came to check a showerhead not cooperating. Had a very nice visit. 」

「Cabin was great! It was just what we needed to wind down from a hectic lifestyle. Walk to the river was quite further than we expected and if you plan on taking chairs and ice chests, be prepared to cross over some pretty rough terrain. In all honesty, the views are amazing and hearing the rush of the water was soothing! We’re used to remote locations and have been hunting all our lives, this reminded me of a hunting cabin and I couldn’t have been more pleased with everything! If I had to say...

「We where there to go off roading in Mason but broke the jeep so stayed in the cabin. Is is really a beautiful place. Thank you we plan on coming back. 」

「The place is beautifully and filled with memories. Its far away from civilization. Quiet and peaceful place in the hill country. Me and my family loved this property we walked all around the property. If you like taking pictures of the stars this place is also great. We were able to take some great pictures. Loved the glass roof over one of the beds. Overall I would definitely stay here again.」

「We booked all five rooms for a trip for an offroad teip in Mason TX. The house was perfect for our group of 5 couples. It was clean and accommodated our grohp perfectly. 」

「Great place to get away, nice and quiet. The hoyse had anything you might need. If you like the outdoors and sit ourside and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets, this is the place. Best part is that since there isn't internet the kids had to intertain themselves and had to interact with others. We loved the history of the place and its rustic look. We will definitely come back soon.」

「We had the BEST time at the Castell Cabin! We got away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoyed the Llano River, fishing, scaling the rocks, spying all sorts of wildlife! Great location near the Llano, Mason, & Fredricksburg triangle! The Castell Cabin has WiFi so we could stream on our devices as needed, all sorts of other amenities, and comfortable beds! Great Get Away!」
