Great spot to stay for visiting kings canyon and sequoia, although a bit more driving (30 minutes) time to your national parks days but in my opinion well worth it. Cost is comparable to staying closer to the park in 3 rivers but with nicer town amenities.

The room itself was clean and in good condition. The staff were kind and helpful. My main issue is that we were given a room on the 2nd floor that overlooked the roof of the entry way portico, which was massive. It was an ugly view of white roof and venting. We couldn't open our window because of it and it made the room stuffy and unbearable to not have any fresh air. And there was a huge half wall at the edge of this area that blocked any potential views. The hotel was most definitely not full, so was disappointed with the check in staff that they didn't put us in a room higher up with a view of some sort. Especially for a half-empty hotel. They know what the guest experience will be in that bank of rooms and it's terrible. It is not worth what we paid. They shouldn't have any rooms that overlook that area. Sadly, will have to consider if I will stay here in the future based on my experience.
