Modern clean cabins near the water. Immaculate grounds and marina. Quiet calming vibe at this wonderful resort. Full disclosure our stay just a Sunday and Monday night in April. I'm sure there is a bit more noise and activity during peak summertime visits at this beautiful resort. Good parking near beach front cabins. Bring provisions if you don't want to drive 20 minutes each way for eats. Cabins have a fully functional kitchen plus an outside gas grill. A beautiful spot. Can't wait to visit again.

Our family was lucky enough to stay at Snug Harbor during April of 2026. We loved it so much we are planning on going back next year. The staff went out of their way to help us get checked in, made us feel comfortable and even made us coffee. Everything you need is right here on property. The cabins are very comfortable.

We checked in on a day when the entire area was without power. While it would be unfair to blame the resort for the outage itself, the lack of communication was unacceptable. The outage began at 8:00 AM, yet we received no updates prior to our 3:30 PM arrival. Upon check-in, the staff provided the bare minimum: instructions on how to operate the one functioning heater. We had to return to the lobby ourselves to ask basic questions, such as whether there would be hot water (there wasn't) or how to light the room (we were told to find a small lantern under the sink). The front desk staff were discouraging and cold; there were no apologies, no proactive guidance, and no ETAs. It felt as though we were an inconvenience for asking for help. While power was eventually restored thanks to PSE, the resort’s "you're on your own" attitude made us seriously consider leaving. Based on this experience, I have no confidence that the management would have offered any support or compensation had the outage continued. I am rating it 3 instead of 0 is only because the other front desk young lady was nice and kind to us on the following day to help us setting up kayaking, and this has been the only positive experience we have had during our stay.

Tucked in quiet secluded area, very peaceful. Loved that the cabin had big wide windows where you could see the water early morning and during dawn. The staff was very friendly and helpfu too.

Snug Harbor resort was amazing for a weekend gateway for our family of 3. We chose the two bedroom cabin, with a queen bed and 2 twin beds. The cabin was ready when we arrived. Check-in was quick and hassle free. The cabin was clean, with ample parking space nearby. The bed linen and bath linen smelled clean and they had even provided extra bath linen. They do have a coffee shop and a small grocery store to buy essentials. The cabins overlook the marina, where you can also do kayaking. The ambience was great 👍. The only con was that the resort is on the western side of the island, a 15 min drive from Friday Harbor ferry terminal and all the popular restaurants. Overall, a great experience for us. Definitely recommend.

This is such a cute resort! We loved our time here. The cabins are very clean and well stocked. Very quiet, beautiful views. Free firewood provided for bonfires and no charge to rent their kayaks. We will be back for sure!

We stayed at 2 beautiful waterfront cabins and enjoyed every minute of it. My sister had a walker and it was easy for her to navigate. Our cabins were clean and nicely appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. Our beds were comfortable. They provide a recycle bin. They provide their special Fidalgo Coffee roast and a FULLSIZED coffee maker which we greatly appreciated ;-) Outstanding customer service was the icing on the cake. We enjoyed freshly baked cinnamon rolls in the morning at their coffeeshop. Super welcoming, kind, and helpful staff. We want to come back here this summer to kayak (which the resorts offers as a guest amenity) and to whale watch (just short drive to beautiful Lime Kiln State Park). We definitely recommend Snug Harbor Resort and look forward to our next visit.
