Our first VRBO
We needed a place to stay for thanksgiving at my Mom's. Her extra rooms were already spoken for. I was actually surprised Friendship, WI actually had VRBOs for rent. Richard met us at the house and showed us around. It was right on the lake as advertised. It was only 1.8 miles from my Mom's place. Too bad it was cold out. Would love to do this again in better weather to take advantage of the lake.

Hidden gem.
We lived in the area for 40+ years, had driven within a couple hundred feet of the lake this cottage sits on, and had never heard of Lake Friendship. Although the lakes all had weed issues this year, it was still very pretty (we didn’t do any boating). Want to fish? Try both the front and back docks. The cottage is FULLY furnished with everything you need. There was plenty of room when our grandkids visited, and the owner of the adjoining resort let them enjoy his swimming beach. Using the garage was a bonus for getting our car out of the weather, and to store luggage during our stay. Our host has a canoe and fishing boat for use by guests, and even has fishing poles and life jackets available. We met a neighbor who offered his pontoon boat to us, although we didn’t take him up on the offer (great neighbor). If we strolled lived on the area, we’d try to buy this property for a weekend retreat. A grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, and more are only a few minutes away (have a Bucky’s pizza delivered 😋). The local golf course is five minutes away - also try their breakfast, lunch, or dinner 😋). Did we like this property? Absolutely!

Cozy Cottage
The property is as described, very clean, and has all the amenities you'd need. Having access to the lake from both sides of the property is a plus. The owner is so sweet and very accommodating. We can't wait to come back again soon!

Comfortable
The cabin was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of comfortable space, all the bedding, towels, and kitchen utensils you could think of, and most of all...quiet. Unfortunately, the lake was much weedier and smaller than we were expecting (DNR needs to update their website), so we couldn't use our boat much at all. LOTS of small bluegill to be caught off the docks. Check-in was in-person and smooth with an older gentleman who could tell you the entire community's story if you had the time, but very generous. Neighbors next door at Island Resort were kind enough to let us swim from their beach, all you had to do was ask. Quiet neighborhood for walks with dogs. The town really needs a coffee shop, but that's nothing against this particular cabin. Very comfortable stay.

A good place for a weekend
It's nice that there is a boat and kayak, and we could sail them on the lake, but it is quite overgrown. It would be nice to refresh this house and clean it up carefully so that there would be no surprises like a mouse in a basket. Great there are bikes and outside grill but needs good cleaning. The covers on the bed needed to be washed or replaced, the sheets weren't nice We left this place an hour earlier because a team was already waiting near the house to clean the property, and when we were still sitting outside, a young man began to mow the grass. We have never had such an experience. It's great that we could make a bonfire by the lake. The weather was fine, so we had a good weekend outside and thank you very much.

Great Place!!
Very nice experience. Owners were great and helpful. The lake was wonderful. We swam in the lake. Fishing was good caught a good number of blue gill, the last day something big grabbed our little guys bait.and snapped the line. Thinking it was a northern. House was clean and well stocked with essential items. Beds were comfy. The fireworks show on July 3rd was awesome. The town of Friendship was awesome, ate at Buckys pizza. Good pizza and appetizers!!

Perfect Getaway
We went for peace and quiet. Exactly what we got! Relaxing on the deck and fishing off the dock. Not far from town so we enjoyed a couple cafes as we didn't want to cook. The bait shop is just a couple minutes away! Cute little town from what we saw. Everything in the house was fully stocked the only thing we had to bring was clothes and food. Seriously a little peace of paradise!

Peaceful Retreat!
This cabin was exactly the type of getaway we were looking for in a vacation. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, grilling, and using the canoe & the rowboat to explore the lake. It was also nice to be be so close to a great state park, Roche-A-Cri. Our stay was short, but it was so peaceful.

Perfect family vacation!
This was by far the most relaxing family getaway with two young kids and a dog! Being able to fish from both sides of the house, take out both the row boat and canoe, hike at state parks and short distance to the Dells made certain there was plenty to do while not feeling like we HAD to do anything! We will definitely go back and appreciate the cabin for all it provided for our family memories!!!

Excellent Stay
The property was nice and had mostly everything we would’ve needed. The fire pit was nice with plenty of wood. We caught at least ten fish between Blue Gills, Small-Mouth Bass, and Perch. Owner was very nice and was helpful to point out anything we might use. Would definitely recommend for small families!

Chilly Weekend
Very nice cozy little cabin. Spent our time relaxing and doing puzzles or playing cribbage during the day, and eating at area restaurants at night. Nice quiet little place on a quiet dead end drive.

Nice place to stay - remote get-away.
We enjoyed our time at the house, particularly the view of the lake from the front AND the back porch. We went hiking, sight-seeing & shopping and ate at several restaurants in the area. The late-October weather didn't cooperate; we didn't get to use the grill or rowboat - next year...

Relaxing lake house getaway
We rented this adorable lake house for a week, and we had a great experience. The house is much larger than it appears in the photos, and it's very well stocked. It's located on a peninsula so there is smaller, quieter portion of the lake directly behind the house, and right across the street is another larger dock on the main part of the lake. Even though the weather wasn't great we definitely utilized the included row boat and canoe. The house also comes with fishing poles, several bikes, rafts, life jackets, and chairs. Also, not shown in the photos is a nice deck directly behind the garage with a table, chairs, patio umbrella, and tiki torches. There's also central ac/heat. The house was very clean and the area was nice and quiet. Bucky's pizza in town will deliver, and the food was pretty good. There's also several state parks around for hiking.

Very clean and comfy house, kitchen and bathroom are stocked fully (you don't need to bring any stuff I just missed a few things in he kitchen but it's OK). I forgot to bring coffee but they provided good coffee and spices for cooking too. This place is amazing and if you are looking for very quiet and relaxing place it is perfect for you, no mosquitoes only a few around 8:30 pm, but no fish this year only a few bluegill and huge turtle. We loved this house. Thank you.

This was a wonderful out of the way find. Within 30 minutes of major tourist stops and yet, cozy.
This was a great find. The owner and person of contact with us were in touch when needed, which setup, not really needed. We arrived and was greeted and given a tour. All needs were met. Water pressure on the shower was great, no problems with hot water, water quality, AC, refrigerator, etc. Now, let me state, this was our impression and not to be meant for all. Everything was clean, organized and very useful. The main bedroom was cramped, but was sufficient as we only needed to sleep there, not make our vacation in there. Two teen boys slept in the bunk beds, one is 6'2" and slept in the bottom and had no issues with comfort. We all enjoyed our sleep and were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with essential needs, dishes, silverware, pot/pans even basic condiments of salt/pepper, sugar etc. The refrigerator was clean and kept food very cold. Plenty of room in the kitchen for two to move around in. The bathroom was clean and enough room to shower and manage changing. The shower pressure was wonderful and hot. Only thing I would have liked, maybe a different shower head as it is an overall spray, not much to deflect, but the pressure and hot water more than made up for this. Well stocked with towels and hand towels. The dining area was tight, but made up with well lit and both the front and back sitting/lounging areas were great for just relaxing and enjoy personal time. The family area was wonderful, with plenty of room and able to enjoy the DISH as needed. WiFi was adequate, no issues there. Great to have a little laundry area with wash basin. The garage was a nice feature, though we chose not to use it. Small grill, 3 burner and we used it almost daily, heated well. There is a canoe and rowboat and we made use of both. Now, the lake is a good looking lake. The site is set up as back of the house has a channel that feeds out the the main lake and then the owner has a small section of property across the road with another dock and place to sit and look out over the lake. I highly recommend this for anyone that is into kayaking or small power/fishing boat. We were not The lake water is great, clear but not what you would think as a swimming lake near the property line, but that did not deter getting into the canoe and paddle out to the middle and jump in. I would easily say that if we go back to the Dells area, this place would be my first choice as the town and neighborhood were peaceful and clean.

Advertised as cottage on a lake with boats available. Actually the lake was being drain an near impossible to use boats. Draining lake increased insect problem and odor. I could go on but won't.

Pretty Cabin great for a cozy family trip
Mr. Murphy is a welcoming host. He has everything you could possibly need to have a memorable time including a boat and canoe. Plenty of big bluegills in the lake! Cabin is cute, updated kitchen, bathroom plus a very nice laundry room. We enjoyed the fire pit and especially the deck w/ a great close up view of the lake. We enjoyed afternoons sitting outside and playing cards watching the wildlife in the bay, especially the little beaver!! so cute The only downside is the beds all have footboards (bad for a tall person) and the sleeper sofa is not comfortable at all.

Very awesome stay! I highly recommend for Wisconsin Dells Trips!!
The lodging is very nice, and wonderfully comfortable. Everything was not only clean and very cozy, but it also had plenty of room for 4 guys to chill. Location is in a nice town, and pretty close drive to the Dells. We actually spent most of our time relaxing at the house. The only downside was that the temperature was a bit too cool for water sports. It would have been nice to take advantage of the boats. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating! He made sure we were stocked for anything, be it fishing, wood fires, etc. I would definitely book this again for my next trip!

Cottage was clean, spacious and well suited for the three of us.
Nice quiet end of the road location, right on the water. Easy access to town and restaurants. [Go to Mo's!] Owners were helpful and responsive. We had some car issues and they helped us find a repairman. Fishing right off the dock was very good. In two days we caught 8 crappy, 1 catfish and a TURTLE [put the turtle back]! Deck was great for morning coffee and cooking on the grill in the evening. Only issue was the steep grade in the back yard. Mom had a hard time getting down and back from the water. Our dogs loved the side yard.

So Relaxing
My husband and I, along with our Golden Retriever, had a wonderful stay at this sweet cottage. My husband and the dog took the rowboat out everyday and even tried a little fishing. We also took long walks and bike rides. I enjoyed the peaceful setting and spent some time in a good book. The nearby State Parks are worth a visit as well. This cottage has everything you need and more. I highly recommend!

Pictures on line were a little deceiving - Smaller yard in person . Fire pit area seemed further away from house in pics- but worked ! New Docks being put in will be a BIG plus for water access on main lake side!!!! In general though it was a nice set up and relaxing !!
