It’s situated very close to some great hiking areas and wineries along the trail. The bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with all our needs, the place was very clean and comfortable, and communication was easy and very quick with Steve. 「We were very happy with our stay at the farm house. One problem we did have was several of our group are elderly and climbing the stairs was too much for them. Except for the master bedroom, all the other bedrooms were upstairs. Needless to say, some people that we thought we would have beds for ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs.」

「I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was at Oak Manor. We stayed here for our daughter’s law school graduation and we had 15 family and friends join us. The house was exceptional. 「I really enjoyed my stay. I came to spend some time with my daughter who goes to SIU. It was nice, quiet, and had the great charm. It is a cabin so it is rustic but that was the charm of the cabin. The bed was great, we were able to cook and relax like the comforts of home. The wifi had an issue and needed to be reset and the host was very prompt on fixing the issue. He was available! I will definitely stay here again when I visit my daughter!」

「Scrupulous cleanliness, thick towels and toilet paper, a comfortable bed, Americana decor and a well equipped kitchen lent to a general air of welcome and comfort. We enjoyed the benefit of the kitchenette and grill, walked in the golf course and used the opportunity to see Giant City, the John A. Logan museum in Murphysburo and to lunch in Anna with our son.
