You can add a pub lunch at the George Inn, or a coffee and ice cream at the Moat and Turret cafe. In the other direction is Mells, a pretty village with a traditional cosy pub and delicious food called The Talbot Inn, definitely worth a visit.
Once a month the whole of Frome turns into a wonderfully vibrant street market, attracting artisan food and craft makers from far and wide.
The Bower is 10 minutes from Babington House and 15 minutes from Bruton where you can visit the beautiful gardens of the Newt and the world renowned art gallery Hauser & Wirth. The city of Bath is 35 minutes away.
Getting Around:
Due to the remote nature of rural Somerset, a vehicle is recommended to make the most of your stay here. Free parking is available.
Other Things to Note:
The garden of The Bower is shared with the neighbouring property where a family live. In the warmer months, you may hear children playing outside.
