It is impossible to even walk in before your check in time at 3pm. Therefore i had to carry my bags around for 3 hours before I could finally drop them off. There are no showers on the dorm floor and so you have to climb up a steep staircase to get to them. There is literally no staff and therefore no one to actually help locate things/solve problems. I struggled even to find drinking water because the only sink was behind a barrier; there was a jug next to the paying counter which I assumed you must pay for. The dorm beds also had no privacy curtains which made sleeping tough and awkward as there was constant light and people moving around/looking up at me. The place is central and in nice condition but the lack of staff made it very confusing.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. In the morning’s the staff were friendly + helpful, and the common area was cozy + great for visiting / chatting with a cup of coffee. The distance from the train station + surrounding shopping / food / activities was also a big plus. I’d definitely book this hostel again.

The hostel was clean, quiet, & in a good location. Self check in was easy, & free towels were a bonus. However, there were several issues that made the stay disappointing. The biggest problem was the Füssen Card. Guests are supposed to receive a card that provides free public transportation, but I was never informed about it. I only discovered it on the day I left after doing my own research. Since the hostel uses self-check-in with no staff in the building, there was nobody to explain this benefit. I ended up paying for transportation that I could have gotten for free. This is unacceptable & could have easily been avoided with clear instructions before arrival. The room was very basic. The bottom bunk felt like sleeping directly on the floor. Only the top bunk had a privacy curtain. There was no luggage storage or secure place to store belongings in the room. In the bathroom there was only one toilet for the women’s room. You had to go down stairs to use it if your room was upstairs. The two showers faced each other & had glass enclosures, making it uncomfortable & awkward if someone else was showering. The showerhead was broken & had to be held the entire time. There is also no luggage storage available before check-in, which is inconvenient for travelers arriving early. Overall, the location, cleanliness, & quiet atmosphere were positives, but the uncomfortable bed, lack of storage, poorly designed showers, & failure to inform guests about the Füssen Card were drawbacks

I had a fantastic stay here!! It was self check in, so I didn't have to worry about my train being late and could come in at 11pm fine. The staff in the morning was extra friendly and great to chat with. Bed was super comfy. Plenty of room in toilet and shower area. I usually don't do great with top bunks, but the ladder up was super easy to climb! Overall had a fantastic stay!

This is an absolutely fantastic hostel, very high standard and always recommend! If I had one suggestion it would be to make the men's and women's bathrooms more clearly signed because women kept walking into the men's shower room while in there! 😅

Very nice and clean hostel. Very comfortable! Location is great and close to the station. The atmosphere is not amazing tho. Because there’s only a ‘café’ open at 8-10am and there’s no bar it’s hard to meet new people as a solo traveler. The lockers in the dorm are really small so you won’t be able to put all your stuff in a locker. Overall a great hostel if you’re looking for a relaxed place.
