「I booked our stay at this property 1 week prior to check in. Shortly after I booked this property, I received an email from VRBO that my reservation was confirmed. While driving to the property on check in day we were 30 minutes from arriving at the property when I contacted the owner for check in procedures. I told the owner I was the person who booked the property for the weekend. The owner sounded confused and told me to hold on and hung up on me. Five minutes later I received a full refund...

「I never write negative reviews but this Rental deserves one. First impression pulling in driveway was bad. Grass was a foot high and front door was filthy. Inside 3/4 of window blinds didn’t work. Kitchen counters were Granite looking wallpaper over plywood and there were multiple rips and tears. Shower head was rusted ( we didn’t use ).Both couches seat cushions were worn with no seating support. While sitting you sunk down 6”.And in our two nights there we saw 5 roaches and a spider. 「Clean property and stocked kitchen with utensils. The property itself is on the older side and could use some TLC. But for our purposes for a quick layover in Houston, it worked fine.」

「I feel the property was misrepresented to a point. This house would be a great rental property if it had some TLC. The front door is molded on the outside and it doesn’t seal properly in the frame so we battled bugs the entire time. The wood look floor is in really bad shape and needs to be replaced. However, the neighbors were really nice and answered questions and Paola always responded to my text questions. Being on a corner lot didn’t help because of the noise and people racing up and down...

There were a couple issues for the month that I stayed including and issue with the water pressure and a clogged toilet, but they were addressed either that day or within 24 hours. Communication was excellent and very fast, including at 1 in the morning! The only thing that wasn't ideal was that the washer and dryer were in the garage, but that wasn't such a huge deal.」
