“I stayed at PlumpJack inn for a wedding I was attending down the road. I stayed for one night. My check in time was very close to the time that the wedding ceremony started, so I was a bit nervous that I was going to be scrambling and possibly late to the ceremony. I arrived in the late morning to PlumpJack and asked reception if there was any way I could check in earlier. “Great place to stay. I'm not into fancy or boujee hotels, so when i give this place 5 stars, i'm not talking about a $1000 a night gold plated Hilton hotel room. I'm going to be using the room to sleep in, and chill after a day of adventuring. This hotel checks all the boxes for that. Good location right off the 80 in west Truckee. Easy parking. Comfy beds. Mini fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast with muffins, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches or burritos. Some fruit, coffee, cocoa. Staff……

“Everything was great. Only thing that needs fixing is the shower head. It is set so it shoots past the tub onto floor. You have to hold the handle off wall mount so it doesn’t get water everywhere ”

“Check in was easy, even though it was virtual check in with no front desk, communication with the hotel was good with detailed instructions and they replied all my questions very fast. The room was nice with a nice view of the lake. Good location close to restaurants, Safeway and the North Tahoe regional park. Would definitely come again!”
