「We had such an amazing time! It was a spurt of the moment decision to come up as our summer plans to stay had to be canceled. But it was exactly what we needed. So peaceful and we had a daily guest who very politely knocked on the door to be let in to say hello. Sarge was an added delight as we tend to miss our kids and own dog. He was certainly an added surprise. We look forward to staying again hopefully sooner rather than later.」

「We booked this for my husband's 40th birthday. The location was perfect! Beautiful views from the porch. We loved relaxing in the swimspa. It was wonderful on a cold night. We cant wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the river more. Hosts were always available and check in was a breeze」

「We stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the area. The cabin is small, but had just what we needed. It is on the river. The weather was rainy and misquotes were bad, so we didn’t get to explore the property, other than being able to sit on the dock for a few minutes when the rain stopped.」

「This property is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet and nature! We love to cook, so the kitchen and the grill provided us with everything we needed. We used the wood-burning stove for a cozy warm fire at night and we built a beautiful campfire outside as the snow fell! 「Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

「We were very happy with our stay at the Nordic Haus. Check in and out was very easy. It’s nice to have a hot tub to soak in and gives the kids something to do at night because skiing closes by 4pm. The only thing was it says it’s 6 bedroom but it’s only 5 bedroom and then has two beds in the loft. The loft is basically part of the living room so we couldn’t have anyone sleep in those beds or they would be kept awake at night by the noise and then woke up early with any early risers making coffee...

「House was exactly what we needed. Lots of space for everyone. Kitchen had supplies needed to cook and bake. Great communication with management.we arrived in the evening , realized at bedtime there was no hot water called the property management company in the morning and they had it fixed quickly.Not a huge deal but inconvenient after traveling for 24hours. House was well stocked with linens and beds were comfortable. We travel to the area once a year and will return if available.」

「The home looks over beautiful Sunset Lake. You cannot beat the views from the deck. A perfect place to have your morning coffee. Plenty of room for our family. The owner was quick to respond to all our questions. We were in town for a funeral, but will definitely stay here again under better circumstances.」

「I’ve stayed at these cabins regularly growing up. I was pleasantly surprised by how the new owner updated the property. The cabin was clean and welcoming. And the space was perfect as a main gathering area for the larger family. I had a little bit of trouble finding the right cabin because they all have the same address. I also had some trouble with the keypad lock but I think this was my fault. The great thing was that the owner answered my calls right away and was very friendly and helpful....
