Beautiful hotel - just very run down with serious lack of maintenance. Won’t stay there again.

Rooms now infested with cockroaches. However staff is friendly esp kitchen staff and reception young lady willing to help but lacks knowledge & experience

Carpets in the room were filthy and the furniture and fittings were old and damaged (non-functional in some cases). WiFi did not work in room. Marketed on the app as a 4 star hotel, only a three star once you arrive, would not give it a two star rating if it were up to me. Staff are friendly and breakfast is pretty good, will avoid in future though.

Fair, but not sure about the 4 star rating. Checked in and had challenges with the air conditioner which was dripping some tiny droplets of water. It took hours to get this fixed. Some of the staff members do not have a culture of smiling, had a visitor who came looking for me but was told there was no one booked under that name until there had to call me on my mobile, efforts to get redress was met with resistance as the front office person literally had to argue with the visitor, drainage system in the bath tub was a poor, a foul smell from the bathroom, broken shower door and handle, gym poorly equipped, and finally problems when I checked out. Booked through expedia and submitted email confirmation when I checked in. Upon checking out I got a printout and was requested to settle my bill in cash or by card, at which point I indicated that booking was done through expedia and confirmation for the booking and payment submitted upon checking in. Was asked to resubmit the same email. I booked this hotel on the basis of reviews but my experience was not so great. Maybe for the price, but I would rather pay extra to compensate for all the issues raised above
