"This is a very nice hotel. The only glitch is that the restaurant is not owned by the hotel so you couldn't get things charged to your room."

"I loved everything about my stay"

"Discussing. Stinks. Blood on bathroom walls. Ripped carpet. Rusty lamp. Dishonest staff. What a dump. Paid for two nights, Friday and Saturday checked out Saturday AM because it sucks - was told a refund would be provided for Saturday and have not received it or a response to multiple contact attempts. Person speaking with hotels.com hung up on them. They do smile at least when they rip you off!"

"Love the room size and room accommodations"

"Whole place is dated. Room was old, and "patched up" in several places. They didn't replace towels or clean the room the whole week. We asked for housekeeping service and they came and only made the bed, and gave us a few towels. They didn't clean the bathroom, or even empty the garbage cans. The breakfast bar had no proteins, only cereals and breads. The hot tub did not get hot, and most evenings the pool and hot tub were closed well before the posted closing time. We were in town to visit our grandchildren, and were hoping to bring them back to the hotel pool. The hotel charges $30 per non registered guest for 2 hours of pool use, which is ridiculous, especially when the place was empty. The owner is quite obviously trying to save money instead of spending money to make it better to get more people to actually want to stay there. I would not stay there again. There are much better places in Shelby."

"The hotel is older. Looks like they are slowly renovating. Room was ok. Needed a deep clean. Our room smelled strongly of something like fabric softener. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was good, eggs and sausage were hot and they have several other items as well. Very convenient to highway 85. "

"Absolutely would not recommend. I went to check in and there were drops of blood all over the lobby floor and outside on the sidewalk. Apparently, someone was just stabbed at the motel. Three police cars arrived and I never went to my room. I have children and left immediately. I requested a refund and Expedia refused."
