As I pulled up rental unit and people next door were smoking drugs. The smell was so bad it made me have a head ache. The house was clean and pictures were acurate.

cute and close to downtown restaurants, plus super dog friendly

My husband and I came for a weekend to see our sons who are students at UF. We needed a dog friendly place and this is it—the back is fenced so we could let them out while we were back there—so easy. The house was well appointed—nice tile, linens, and fixtures, better than I expected. It is also close to downtown restaurants and pretty close to UF too. “Tiny” home but actually plenty of room. It would have been fine to have one of my sons stay upstairs in the loft so this place is also good for couples with older kids too (staircase probably not great for preschoolers).

I hate to give a negative review but hopefully it will help you for future guests….Upon entering there were 6 dead roaches in the kitchen. Although it is great that they were dead, it was clear no one had been at the property for a surface clean or walk through before we arrived. Coffee pot didn’t work and not enough mugs for guests if it had worked. I reached out twice to have no return message through app or return phone call. You can’t control the neighbors but they woke us up at 2:30 am having a grand time. Their noise level was over the top. I hope these suggestions help with future bookings.

Safety of property not address

The property is next to another with same owner. There is a gate connecting the two which cannot be locked. There was a huge party next door and it overflowed to our deck and neither gate could be locked. Front porch light and motion lights did not work which created issues when crowd congregated on our porch.Communication with Vrbo went unanswered and host said he was not responsible for inconsiderate neighbors, never addressed safety issue of gates accessible by neighbors all night until 4:15 AM. Disappointing
