This is an excellent place to stay in the middle of Chianti. We only stayed one night, and that was too little. We can't wait to go back and this time have several relaxing nights. The restaurant down the hill was also amazing; great food, fantastic service. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the Chianti area. One of the best breakfast we’ve ever had in Italy. The wine tasting experience was fun and we highly recommend it. The Osteria was great with excellent traditional food. All the staff were great. The pools were fab, although the further one was closed when we tried it. We’d gladly go back to visit again

Super clean.. walked in can smell how clean it was. Beautiful location only down side restaurant was close and it was very difficult finding food around on a Monday afternoon. Wine tour is a must had a great time small group but wonderful people..

The property is located in the center of Tuscany with an amazing view of the surrounding area. The Villa is very clean & comfortable, accommodating three families very well. Wine tasting is offered everyday, unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to Winter season.

Lovely views and the apartment we stayed in was perfect and spacious. Weather was a bit too hot but the pools really helped control it. Would definitely go back!

Our stay was wonderful. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The tour and tasting was a must have experience. The grounds are beautifully designed and maintained. Our only problem was the coffee maker had to be replaced because it didn’t work, and no instant coffee was provided. I did miss my timely first cup prior to getting dressed. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Gorgeous hotel in an amazing location and we really enjoyed the wine tour and on site restaurant. The only negative was that the shower constantly flooded the bathroom which meant it was difficult to use and some of the furniture had marks on the fabric etc which does spoil the overall look of the room.

Ficamos hospedadas no Castello di Meleto e gostamos muito da experiência de passar uma noite em um castelo — algo único e especial. Chegamos por volta das 16h e infelizmente não conseguimos fazer o tour guiado, pois o próximo só aconteceria às 11h do dia seguinte, então acabamos conhecendo por conta própria. A vista é deslumbrante e o castelo é bonito e bem conservado, mas as acomodações em si não impressionam na mesma medida. O quarto estava bem limpo e possui frigobar, porém todos os itens são pagos. Um ponto negativo foi o acesso: são cerca de 6 lances de escada, o que foi bem cansativo com malas — embora seja compreensível por se tratar de um castelo. Jantamos no restaurante e foi uma boa experiência, mas é um local que exige carro, pois a locomoção a pé é difícil. O grande destaque foi o café da manhã, que estava fantástico. No geral, recomendamos pela experiência e pelo café, mas pelo valor, acreditamos que poderiam incluir ao menos uma degustação de vinho.

Onsite food choices limited, unless you have a car, i wouldn't stay here. Staff very friendly but not highly knowledgeable about the winery, process and history of castle. Taking the wine tour is a waste of time you will learn nothing. Save money just walk the property and taste their wine, BUT, the staff is very nice

The photos and visitors feedbacks wasn’t as the Vila looked compared to the castle. The villa we got is very old compared to the amazing reviews and photos of the Castle. The service we got is very nice although we decided to leave the place. We are looking forward to get any answers from costumer services in order to get fully refund back! It’s important mention the real feedback on the villas and not on the castle.

This was truly a unique experience. Castilla di Meleto sits in the beautiful Tuscan scenery with its winery surrounding it. You'll notice this is not like any other accommodation, they really try to keep the castle the way it was. They are not trying to convert every room into a bedroom to increase profit. The dining room of the castle would be the dining room from some centuries ago with original furniture. If you stay in the castle I definitely recommend taking the castle tour. Though as a guest you're freely to go into most rooms of the castle but if you take the tour you'll be given a peek to other rooms not generally open, like the theatre and dungeon of the castle as well. My only complaint is we came on a very rainy day and there isn't much to do when it rains. I think the hotel can make some accommodation for that in the future. Maybe even properly covered area outdoor would be good.

多年旅行經驗中,令我最深刻的一次的體驗! 不是好! 而是差! 早在3月時, 已經在HOTELS.COM訂了這家古堡酒店, 因為在網絡看到介紹覺得這古堡很漂亮, 最吸引我是古堡入面其中一間獨位小屋, 我們可以說是為了這間小屋而來的, 當我們懷者興奮的心情到達古堡準備CHECK IN時, 一位服務員帶我們去看看入住的地方, 我們才發現那根本不是我們訂的小屋, 而是一座比較大的建築內入面三間雙人房! 完全不是我們所訂的屋, 那我們便跟服務員說是不是攪錯了? 服務員一開始就非常肯定的說沒有攪錯, 要我們再出示HOTELS.COM的確認信,才走回辦公室查看,等了一會,再出來回覆又說是可能是系統問題,攪錯了訂房,我們當然不妥協! 我們要的獨立小屋跟這三間房簡直是兩碼子的事, 獨立屋有廚房,大煮食爐頭,焗爐等等,我們在市內已經買了豐富食材準備晚餐及明天的早餐,現在只有的是其中一間房入面有一個櫃內的一組小型煮食爐,還有一個爐是用不到的! 景觀更加不用比較了,獨立屋是面向大草原,景觀很美. 比這三間房間相差太遠了! 於是我們再請服務員給回正確的房間給我們. 這時她說房間已經給了另一組客人了,我們要求她請客人退出,給我們入住,她說不可以,原因是那班客人是FRIENDS OF OWNER! 我們氣得說不出話來! 最後因為當時已經很晚,沒有可能再找到酒店,沒有退路之下只好入住這三間房.雖然管理層減價給我們,但真的不是錢的問題了,我們的興致已經沒有了,失望到極點,從香港來到意大利最期待的一晚變成這樣,你們也想像到我們有多失望吧!

特別的經驗

我們只在此地短暫停留一晚，此地是城堡與酒莊附加民宿，位於山丘頂端，風景堪稱一絕，一望無際的托斯卡尼山城風景。 抵達時剛好參加下午三點有酒莊及古堡導覽，也有許多遊客慕名而來。 入住的樓中樓房間位於城堡旁邊，四周也有許多類似的小屋子改建成供住宿的房間，內部有廚房、微波爐、盤子餐具可使用。環境整潔度勉強可接受，因為是舊式的房子改建，內部所有家具應是80、90年代歐式復古的氛圍。收不到wifi，加上入夜後四周一片漆黑，隔天早晨我們早早就離開了。
