“Absoluter Geheimtipp am Comer See! Kleines Hotel mit nur wenigen Zimmern und einem wunderschönen Garten mit traumhaften Pool, an dem man einfach nur abschalten kann. Das Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten auf der Terrasse mit Blick in den Garten ist der beste Start in den Tag! Wir haben am Abend auch ab und zu im hauseigenen Restaurant gegessen, absolut Empfehlung! Wir haben uns vom Anfang bis Ende sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder!! Vielen Dank!!”

“My initial lower review was based on initial impression of the room and room only. The staff could not have been any better or more attentive. Some of the absolute best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Especially from Alice, Isabella, and Leonardo. I responded to email from Expedia about first impressions. The management staff at Casa du Lac reached out to me for feedback. I met with Guest Experience Manager Alice to explain. She was extremely receptive to my issues with the room and……

“The location couldn’t have been better. Literally 5 minute walk to everything. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. The only reason I did not give perfect score was the AC was not that great. Especially in the master bedroom we were very uncomfortable all night with the AC set at the lowest. Also, it wasn’t an issue for me, but several in the family were not thrilled about all of the stairs to get up to the unit.”

“Spacious apartment at the top of one of the beautiful winding pathways from the main boat terminal . Location couldn’t be better. French press and another coffee machine for use. Highly recommend for a family of 3”

“Euro 180 is charged for private boat trip but no English speaking guide, no welcome drink or fruit basket in room considering 5 star and nearly 500 euro rate! Breakfast is good. Gym room is opened 9 or 10am, not designed for morning excercise purpose! Room reserved considered to be garden view but in actual, funny hotel back of house view! No show for one room, no consideration for partial refund or extend for future use- waste!”

“We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room……
