3Bd/2Ba beach house that is perfect for a romantic getaway or family fun vacation!!

Some remodeling, new furniture, new towels and linens as of October 2023.

This non-smoking (smoking allowed outside only), pet friendly home offers free WiFi, cable, outside entertainment area, fireplace, fire pit, outdoor charcoal grilling and a fully stocked kitchen with many other amenities.

The master has a King-size bed, night stands, large closet, office desk, dresser, chest of drawers, television & private bathroom. The "queen room" has 2 queen sized beds, a nightstand, dresser, large closet and television. The "bunk room" has a full bed & a twin bed making it a perfect kids room. The living room has a sofa with a pull out couch, a love seat & chair with ottoman that overlook an 84" TV and fireplace. The house can sleep up to 11 people if all pillows are occupied. There is a washer and dryer in the home along with a second bathroom and outdoor full shower. The kitchen and house has everything you need for a perfect stay. We provide all linens, bath towels & beach towels.

The outdoor areas have swinging chairs and outdoor furniture to enjoying the wood burning fire pit while you barbeque on the charcoal grill. There is a children's playset with swing and slide for kids approximately 3-6yrs old. The yard has fencing but it is not "secure" for dogs trying to get out.

The house is walking distance to all community amenities such as a park with community pool, food, kids' playground, stores, bait, boat ramp(requires permit-contact us before booking) and of course the BEACH and bay. You and your family and friends will feel right at home. All you need is your bathing suit and sunscreen.

Great place, not great communication
The house is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect set up for families or a quiet getaway with friends. We were very happy with the check in/out procedures, location, and the amenities offered. The only and most glaring negative was that the air conditioner for the living room and kitchen was not working, and it took over 24 hours and 5+ messages to the host to even get a response. Then, there was nothing they could do for 2 more days. I understand that AC systems break — it’s summer in Texas and it’s probably been working hard for months now — my main issue was the lack of timely response. They refunded the price of one night when all was said and done, which is appreciated, but would have loved to see a more timely response when they were made aware of the issue.

Horrible experience & horrible host. False advertisement. We were COMPLETELY misled by the listing. We had NO AC our entire stay- the temperature inside of the house never dropped below 85 degrees. The host was so unbelievably rude & unprofessional. She answered TWICE during our entire stay and told us that we didn't have to be at the house (that we paid $1300 to be in) if we had an issue with there being no AC. Once a repair man came out to tell us that the AC would not be fixed, she completely ignored us from that point on. Also, the host had a group of strangers come into the house for a showing during our stay- we were expected to clean & had to wait around for over an hour after the time the host said the realtor would be there to accommodate this request. The host advertised that there were many amenities, none of which were available to us during our stay. There were no dishes available to use. The playground looked nothing like the pictures in the listing. The fire pit & swing area was disgusting, worn down, & broken. They charge $5 PER LOG if you want to use the fire pit. The listing advertised there were 3 bathrooms, but there were only 2. The host made NO EFFORT whatsoever to rectify the situation. She did not care that the ac was BROKEN & that it was 85-95 degrees INSIDE of the house our ENTIRE stay. I could go on all day about issues we had with this host & this house. Stay away if you value your time, money, and sanity. You will be disappointed if you stay here.

Very clean and spacious vacation home!
We loved our stay, 4 nights with 6 adults and a 5 year old. We all had plenty of space to be together and take time to ourselves. There is plenty of board games for adults and kids, and even some kids books. The kitchen is very spacious, but if you are looking to cook a lot you may consider bringing some items.with you. There are no mixing bowls, blender, or any sort of food storage options. The coffee maker also does not work, but there is a keurig also. The entire home was very clean as was the outdoor area. The swing set is much more weathered than in the photo, but still fun for small children (my son is 5 and was just about too big for it. Plenty of firewood provided which was so nice, be sure to bring charcoal for the grill though! For us, the walk was much too far to the beach when bringing a lot with you (tent, chairs, food, etc) so we rented a golf cart and had a quick 3 minute drive.

Cute Beach Getaway
We all enjoyed the home very much! After going back and forth on many properties I’m glad we chose this one. Short drive to the beach. Convenient outdoor shower and bbq area with countertop and sink. Interior of home was nicely decorated and well taken care of- reasonably priced!!

Super Peaceful and Convenient location.
The property was very close to public beach and had everything as described in listing. Beds were super comfy and spacious bathrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and fridge had a handy icemaker. Nice place to stay when in Galveston.

Retirement vacation
Nice enough place. I just got tired of looking at literally hundreds of places to rent, so I picked one. It checked the majority of the boxes. Nice area, private parking, etc. Was concerned when we got there and saw a for sale sign on the property, that we were going to be flooded with lookers, but that didn't happen, thankfully.

Pleasantly surprised
I was nervous because there were no pictures of the interior and the price during Lonestar rally weekend was responsible, almost too good to be true. The home was spacious for my 3 friends and quiet. There was a space for everyone to enjoy reading a book, listening to music or sitting in the hammocks looking at the stars. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Booking and planning on staying here next year as well. It was walking distance to the beach and close enough to the Rally activities without being overwhelmed with the crowds. Truly a hidden gem
