Actually this place would have gotten higher review had the host treated me with more respect and some compassion for the situation. We rented for 5 days on our 3rd morning we had a Carbon Monoxide detector go full alarm in the whole house so we went out called fire department after calling the host to inform them he said his handyman will come and assist the fire department guy never showed up alarm happened at 9:55 am by 1pm I was told 2 separate times by the host via text. It’s fixed and no problem… Big problem I’ve been there the entire time not one single person showed. Now I’ve been told it’s fixed a 2nd time and I had been standing outside of this house because the alarms are so loud u can’t stand to be inside! After a 3rd call to host to tell him where are you sending this guy bcz we’ve been here and have seen no one! It’s been 4 hrs of my whole family kids and all standing outside in cooler temperatures.We decided to leave for a while and hope this is finally resolved at this point on the phone with VRBO trying to get some sort of resolution to this madness here I paid for relaxation not standing outside of a place I rented being told it’s fixed and done and clearly no one showed.So hours later we text the host just before headed back to the VRBO asked the host if he knew it was actually fixed this time? Text me back at 430 yes all fixed good to go. We show up at the VRBO no joke the first thing I hear when we pull up is the damn alarm still running!
