Beautiful location

The property was in a fabulous location with views of the lake. A great swimming pool & clean accommodation. The rooms downstairs were very damp but soon sorted by a very helpful host who brought 2 new dehumidifiers. Loved every minute of our stay

Wonderful lake stay

Wonderful house for our family stay. Great Lake views, pool and a little backyard to play in. It was a bit of a hike up the hill, but very centrally located to walk to shops, restaurants, ferries and the grocery store. Mara was really quick to respond and helpful with all of our questions. We would come back!!

Nice Appartement with a wonderful view

We enjoyed the stay very much. The Apartment is well equipped. The children were happy about the empty pool. In 15 minutes you can walk to the promenade. The restaurants in Gardone are also highly recommended and can be easily reached on foot.

In one word: FANTASTIC This stay is superb. You will stay in a nice accommodation. You can completely relax in the garden and the swimming pool provides the necessary cooling. Stunning property and location

The villa itself was absolutely perfect for our group of six, 4 adults and two teenagers. Very nicely presented and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was there, in mid August it’s very hot, and the villa does get warm but the shutters work well to keep the sun out during the day. The pool area is just lovely so clean and well maintained, my only thought is a few sun umbrellas would be great round the pool, it faces due south and is a sun trap ! The lady who runs the house was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, couldn’t ask for more !

We were traveling with a group of 5 people and stayed for 5 days in this very well-kept property. Everything was as described, the check-in was pleasantly flexible and the apartment corresponded completely to the photos, so it was beautiful and perfectly equipped. Beautiful property in unbeatable surroundings with magnificent views over lake Garda. Villa was clean and comfortable with efficient fans for warm nights. Host was always contactable and made check in and out process very straightforward. Walkable distance to good supermarket and Gardone Riviera is a quite jewel on the Garda lake side with lovely places to stop and have a drink and food. Listing was exactly as described to the extent I felt like I knew the place before we arrived! Lovely private back garden on top of the chairs and tables at the front. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Great location and facilities

Great location to go up/down lake. Great pool that hardly used as other units in complex mainly weekend visits from Milan. Plenty of space in apartment and nice private garden area. 10 minutes walk to get to restaurants and shops or down to the main Gardone ferry/restaurants area.

Relaxation, Views & Warm Hospitality

The accommodation was exactly as described, and we felt at home from the very first moment. Communication and the warm welcome from our host were both very pleasant and helpful – we truly felt welcome.We stayed as a group of five (parents, two children, and a grandfather), and the three bedrooms were absolutely perfect for us. The pool was rarely shared with others, which made it feel almost private.The view of the lake is simply breathtaking. We also loved the location – close to the charming town of Salò, which is even within walking distance, and not far from lovely Gardone either.One of our favorite spots was the little garden with its terrace – a true oasis and the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or dinner outdoors.We’ll definitely be back!

biker holiday at the garda Lake

we had a succesfull stay, very nice apartment , nice pool with a magnificient view on the lake. Mara , our host , has given a profound reception and was always at our disponibility if we had problems, wishes of any information. it was a fantastic stay and the weather has contributed a lot. we had fantastic and tough biker tours with bici rent , our Guide Roberto of Salo. we will come back thanks a lot for the service Mara. regards from Munich thierry willems

Great views of Lake Garda

We had a great time at Mara’s apartment. It’s set up the hill from the lake with great views. There are a number of apartments around a shared pool which is superb, great for little ones learning to swim. The apartment is very nicely furnished, the 2 bedrooms in the basement were nice and cool and the main bedroom is nicely out with big cupboards. There is a nice garden and terrace at the back which gets the afternoon sun. Mara was very welcoming and on hand for any questions. We have 3 kids who had a great time and they would recommend staying!

Amazing stay

This was one of the best properties that we have stayed at. It is even better than the pictures make it look. Immaculately clean and very well presented and Mara was available to help with any queries. The walk up from the lakeside is a bit steep but well worth it for the amazing views. The pool is perfect and the back garden is great for breakfast and pre-dinner drinks. There are great local restaurants just a short walk away and the harbour at Salo is beautiful and great in the evening. The ferry to other parts of the lake is about a 20 minute walk away which we used instead of having a car. We can't wait to come again and are already planning our return visit with friends next year. Thank you Mara for a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing time in this house, which is even better than the pictures show. Having been to Lake Garda many times we stayed somewhere different this time and we were very glad that we found this place. The views are stunning and the pool area fantastic; busier at the weekends but still always beds and a peaceful place to relax! The house (and the rest of the buildings in the property) looks amazing, is very well looked after and has everything you could need and with two bedrooms downstairs, providing natural coolness, we could sleep comfortably as well (great idea). 10 minutes down the hill from the house (which we walked everyday although we are not particularly fit) we found the cafe/bar for snacks and drinks and the bakery, as well as the Spar supermarket (we did drive for supplies!). There is also a high ropes/tree adventure park that looks fun. A short further walk and we were in Gardone Riviera itself with its beautiful promenade and lakeside restaurants. There were also craft stalls and live music a couple of times whilst we were there. Everything you could want on your doorstep but you can also get the passenger ferry from Gardone to access the rest of the lake, or the car ferry from Maderno, which is a 10 minute drive further on. Inland there are also places of interest (within walking distance if you want) including the house Il Vittoriale the eccentric poet, which is well worth a visit, if nothing else but to see the ship and to eat in one of the nearby pretty restaurants. Overall this was a superb place to stay and I would not hesitate to recommend Mara’s house, which was amazing. We will be back. Thank you.

Wir hatte 7 superschöne Tage am Gardasee

Die Wohnanlage selbst und die eigenen "angemieteten 4 Wände" inklusive kleinem, abgetrennten Garten hinter dem Haus haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war in tadellosem, sauberen Zustand und die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und bei Bedarf/Rückfragen (z.B. Mülltrennung ;-) superschnell erreichbar. Der Kompromiss zwischen der Ruhe nicht unbedingt in der vordersten Reihe am See im Verkehrslärm hausen zu müssen bei parallel trotzdem guter Erreichbarkeit von Ministrand im Ort, Bäcker und Supermarkt per kleinem Fußmarsch ohne das Auto benutzen zu müssen war perfekt. So konnten alle Mitreisenden diverser Altersklassen al gusto Pool, Mini-Kieselstrand oder WLAN im Keller (für Pubertiere mit Netflix und verschrobenen Prioritäten eine perfekte Oubliette) genießen ;-) Für Ausflüge von Salo per Schiff oder nach Limone, Riva oder ins Hinterland per Auto ebenfalls eine gute Ausgangslage. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Tolle Ferienwohnung und Mara ist ein super Host

Wir waren als Familie 7 Tage zu Gast bei Mara in der Ferienwohnung und hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt. Die Residenz liegt auf einem Berg und vom Pool hat man einen super Blick auf den Gardasee der zum Träumen einlädt. Hinter der Ferienwohnung befindet sich eine Terrasse und ein kleiner Garten, welcher ein super Rückzugsort ist und wo man in Ruhe frühstücken kann. Wir waren mit 6 Personen in der Ferienwohnung und es war alles vorhanden. Zusammenfassend eine super ruhige Ferienwohnung die Entspannung bietet. Aber auch Ausflüge kann man gut Unternehmen. Die Uferpromenade ist ca.500m Fußweg zu erreichen. Von dort aus kann man weitere Orte bequem mit dem Boot erreichen. Auch Limione ist innerhalb von 1 Stunde mit dem Bus zu erreichen.
