Gardone Riviera

The property was well maintained and had all the amenities we were looking for. The location had so much character and was an easy walk to all amenities. The host was wonderful, quick to respond and extremely helpful answering so many questions. Many thanks!

Beautiful Villa in a Stunning Town

The Villa was really beautiful. Elevated above the lake it provided some stunning views. It was very well equipped, and having a private pool was great for the children to cool off whenever they needed. It was expensive for the week, but good value for money. Already planning to return next year to the area, although maybe a larger villa so we can have some additional family with us. A prior warning for how narrow the entrance is with a suggestion to reverse in through the gates would have helped. Upon arrival with a large Peugeot 5008 I struggled for a few minutes to navigate the entrance and figure out the best way to get the car inside. Lack of air-conditioning in the smallest bed room with bunk beds was not great. We ended up setting up a fan blowing over a bowl of ice to help our youngest stay cool at night. It could be easily remedied though.

Very nice time, good management and villa with some downsides

We liked the service and the promptness of any reaction very much. Problems were solved very quickly and friendly. The pool and the location of the villa are exceptionally good! We would definitely book with Holiday Garda again but would be having a look at other villas from the portfolio. Thanks again! The booking system (only on a weekly basis) is a little inconvenient, even though we would have been able to find a good solution with the help of the team. The villa has a few maintenance issues, which we found a bit disturbing (considering the price): - shower courtain with mold - shower head loose (falls off regularly) and already damaged - all fittings calcified - rain comes through ceiling with heavy rain (in the northern bedroom) - no mosquito nets (Air condition problems, problems with the stove and the transmitter for the gate have been solved very quickly by the team)

We had a great week at Villa Laura. The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning contemporary art. The sitting room, kitchen, dining too , outside eating area was very relaxing and so well stocked for a relaxing stay. Great bookings of restaurants for us at a moments notice by Novella, Fab bakery and deli all 5 min walk up the hill, picture perfect squares, gorgeous views of Lake Garda The construction work next door was quite instrusive mon-Fri, and we were surprised not to have been warned about this. The shower was difficult to use in the double bedroom as there is nowhere to attach it to the wall and stand under it. The other shower has a very slippy shower tray. We had an issue with the gate malfunctioning but this was sorted out quickly as was the water temperature (thank you). Driving through the gate is quite tricky at the angle and narrowness of the street, a small car would make this easier!

Toller Urlauber in super Villa

Lage der Villa ist ausgezeichnet, Bäcker und Supermarkt fussläufig erreichbar. Wunderschöner großer Garten, ideal für Hunde. Super Pool, ausgezeichnete Betten. Küche bestens ausgestattet. Alles in allem perfekt!!!!! WLAN IM Aussenbereich könnte besser sein. Kleine Tischchen am Pool zum abstellen.

Wunderschönes Haus mit großem Pool und zentraler Lage

Wir wurden vorab darüber informiert, wann wir einchecken konnten. Check-in war sogar früher möglich. Bei Ankunft wurden wir pers. empfangen und die wichtigsten Infos rund um das Haus und die Außenanlage wurden uns erklärt.Offene Fragen, wurden schnell via WhatsApp beantwortet. Einfahrt/Tor ist eher schmal und bedarf etwas Rangierarbeit (MB V-Klasse), da die Zufahrtsstraße eng ist. Übungssache. Haus/Außenanlagen sind sehr sauber. Poolreinigung 2x/Woche. Küche/Kühlschrank sind ebenfalls sehr aufgeräumt und sauber. Die Küche gut ausgestattet. Kommunikation mit Holiday Garda war sehr professionell. Alle notwendigen Infos wurden per E-Mail vorab kommuniziert. Für die Buchung unserer Extras (Tisch Reservierung u. Bootsausflug) erhielten wir jederzeit sehr schnelle, zeitnahe Unterstützung. Die Lage ist nahe am Ortszentrum und versch. Restaurants, Geschäfte, Bäcker, Metzger, kl. Lebensmittelladen können bequem zu Fuss erreicht werden. Nächster Supermarkt zu Fuß 15 Min/ per Auto 5 Min. Das Haus liegt direkt am Botanischen Garten. Wir empfanden die Geräuschkulisse der Besucher nicht als störend und das Haus kann auch vom Garten nicht eingesehen werden. Oberen Stockwerk gibt es Zimmer mit Seeblick. Vom Pool kein direkten Blick auf den See. Letztendlich ist immer eine Frage, was ich will: Zentrumsnah mit versch. Optionen in Laufweite oder eher weiter oben am Berg mit mehr Ausblick und ruhiger. TT-Platte/Schläger/Bälle vorhanden. Klimanalage vorhanden. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen.

Great property well managed

The property is really well located and easy to get to all local services, restaurants & supermarkets on foot. Its decorated in a characterful way with comfy beds and a lovely pool. We were really happy with the communication with the property managers- we had a problem and they were immediately on it so we did not have to worry. Exactly what you want when on holiday
