"An absolutely breathtaking location as you are nestled in the Cork/Kerry mountains and need for nothing. Jonathan is an incredible host who makes your stay so special with knowledge and suggestions only a local person can possess. His friendliness and upbeat aura are infectious. The cottage is delightful, well crafted and cozy. A very clean and tidy space with plenty of amenities for cooking, lounging and relaxing. Our stay here was nothing short of amazing and bar none our favourite place in Ireland we have visited. The only thing to improve upon is our own planning skills as we wish we stayed longer than two nights!"

"Didn't get the email with a key box code and not enough toilet paper. Some issue with no water in the upstairs ensuite shower too. Need a compost area. Beautiful house and location"

"Auf unserer Irlandrundreise haben wir hier 3 Tage verbracht, um den Ring of Kerry zu erkunden. Fast an der Spitze der Halbinsel gelegen, war es für uns der Volltreffer, um den Skellig Ring und Valentia Island abzufahren. Das Haus selbst war für uns umwerfend. Gefallen hat uns besonders die tolle Architektur mit sehr großzügig geschnittenen Räumen, die auf den Bildern gar nicht so herauskommt, die tolle Aussicht und die absolut private, ruhige und idyllische Lage. Alles ist hochwertig ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Küche und Hauswirtschaftsraum sind technisch optimal für Selbstversorger gerüstet. Wir waren nur zu Zweit hier, können uns aber vorstellen, dass bei dem vielen Platz das Haus ideal für einen längeren Ferienaufenthalt für eine größere Familie geeignet ist, zumal es auf einem großen sehr privaten Grundstück steht und der nächste Strand nur wenige Minuten entfernt ist. Da das Wetter bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr regnerisch und trüb war, haben wir den Luxus dieses Hauses wirklich genossen."

Butler Arms Hotel

"Elegant old hotel, high level of service. Breakfasts were wonderful with lots of options. We were on the first floor so view was good but I’m sure upper floors have amazing views. We had a noise issue, with an old radiator that needed to be bled on occasion or it made a loud jackhammer sound in the wall of our room. Happened twice, once early in the morning. Staff took care of it promptly but it was annoying. But it is a very old place."

"C'est la troisième année que nous passons une semaine de vacances à Pallas Lodge.Si nous revenons dans cette région d'Irlande, nous séjournerons dans cette maison sans aucune hésitation. La maison est parfaite et très bien située. Kay et Pat sont des propriétaires accueillants et très sympathiques."

"Klondyke House was a perfect location midway around the Ring of Kerry and Skellig Circle. Convenient parking and a clean and comfortable room with a view of the Sea. A hearty breakfast was individually prepared and was a delicious way to start the day! Close drive to restaurants in Waterville."

"Loved staying here - didn't want to leave. Lots of things to do, delicious food at breakfast and dinners. Really enjoyed the nature walks with the guide. The setting is beautiful and we left feeling rejuvenated. The staff was very accomodating and despite a full house, transferred us to a room with elevator access that my husband needed."
