I booked 3 rooms in February, and arrived last night to find the place closed. The site was overgrown with weeds, and nobody around. Had to find emergency accommodation nearby costing me stress and extra expense.

Hotel closed

This hotel has been closed for months. We were left with out any where to stay. We met others outside the hotel in exactly the same situation. Despite registering a complaint with hotels.com I received this communication asking how was my stay.

Unterkunft Monate vorher gebucht und bezahlt mit Frühstuck gebucht über Expedia, wir wurden nicht informiert das die Unterkunft schon seit Monaten geschlossen ist. Dadurch sind uns sehr hohe Kosten entstanden durch extra buchungen.

Siamo stati vittime di una truffa. Il gestore della struttura e poi il proprietario ci hanno detto che loro non ricevono le prenotazioni di Expedia e che c'è qualcuno che tramite Expedia si spaccia per loro e incassa le prenotazioni e che lo hanno più volte segnalato. Per farla breve ci hanno chiuso la porta in faccia e abbiamo dovuto cercare alle 22 di sera una soluzione alternativa che non abbiamo trovato e quindi abbiamo dormito in auto!! Alla luce di ciò anche l'opinione su Expedia è crollata.

Property cancelled after we payed just a few days before arriving we had to make emergency arrangements.I suspect they tried to scam us as they told us us to cancel even tho after reading the terms that would make it look like we were cancelling and would not see our money back Expedia were useless they can’t act as a third party to get your money back!! I would never book a stay here or anywhere else on Expedia

I was unable to stay in this hotel since when I arrived there it was closed up and the bailiffs were on site. Expedia helplines we’re utterly useless in resolving the issue or finding me an alternative booking. I shall be requesting a full refund.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. This is a scam hotel. The hotel was closed there was no one there. The phone number dose not connect. The hotel looked abandoned. There where signs on the windows saying bailiffs had been in. All this after a four hour drive & we had paid in full only 2 week before.

This was a joke! Property was isolated in nowhere, abndoned and noone there! Expedia pmease take this availibluty down. Had to drive back into a main town and try and find a place to stay at 7pm! Paid a fortune but didnt have to sleep in the car in the Highlands. Very disappointed

Staff very friendly. Decor very tired. Bedding stained and hairs in bathrooms. Dinner menu good but slow. Shame breakfast had no juice or cereal and no real milk!!!
