We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and the rooms were very spacious. Loved the outside access with chairs to sit on. Great view of the river and town. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

the edges on the flooring look water damaged, all the dirt looks like it gets pushed along the edge between the tile and hardwood. The bathtub appears dirty and the seems look moldy, toilet runs had to tap it a few times to get it to stop

Check in staff was great, clean rooms. Beautiful view of the river. Only negatives were that we needed an iron, they didn't have them in room, or a closet????, asked for it the morning after we arrived and they were supposed to deliver it along with new towels to our room. Towels arrived and the room tidied but no iron. Asked again and they told me they were all loaned out:/. So, I had wrinkled clothes the rest of the trip. Also, they have two nice firepits, which we were excited to use, with the firewood that we were told was provided (on the check in paper) was at the end of the building. No wood. When asked, the front desk staff said that it was ordered but wasn't sure when it was gonna be there. The husband forged for some twigs and wood and gathered some from the edge of the woods. We had bought the starters from the store and since the wood was wet, we struggled to have a fire. It wasn't a total fail, but just make sure there's wood or bring your own before you settle in for a relaxing evening by the fire pit. Overall it was a nice stay! Location was not bad, but not really walking distance into downtown Gatlimburg. There's trolley stop right in front of the hotel. But, we waited one evening for 40 mins and one never came by. We saw very few while we were there.

I brought a large group to stay here, about seven rooms with fourteen people in total. The highlights of our stay were the breakfast, the location, and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel itself is older and somewhat worn. The main issue we encountered was that one of the rooms had not been cleaned thoroughly. However, given the location and the price, I still believe the hotel offers good value.

Check-in and customer service was great. The room that was given to us had a very bad smell like urine or a sewer line. We were given a new room right away which smelt fresh and clean. There was a long hair in the bathtub and we went and bought some cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom ourselves. We did enjoy the room next to the river and sleeping with the door cracked so we could hear the river running. It is not a bad place to stay as long as you understand it is a budget hotel for a reason.

The fireplace was a nice touch, and the location was ideal to walk to Chesepeakes , a fantastic restaurant. The winter rate was amazing for such a nice room. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Great clean room with comfortable furnishings. The mountain stream outside your room is the best part. Nice staff! I've been here many times and always enjoyed it. Off-season is the best time, no crowds and great rates.

I feel that 8am is a bit too early to be receiving text messages and emails about check out. Especially when we did not arrive to the hotel until after 9pm and checkout was at 11am.
