Great Getaway

Family of 11; 6 adults and 5 children ages 8 months to 5 1/2 years. Plenty of room, plenty to do, just a great facility loaded with amenities for everyone! Look forward to future stays at WalkAbout!

Christmas vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas in this beauuuutiful home!! The space was just perfect for my mom, 2 couples & 3 teens/twenty somethings. We all enjoyed the game room immensely, teaching my mom Ms. Pac-Man was hysterical! We all cooked in the beautiful kitchen everyday, I can’t say enough about our amazing time there. Sabrina was super helpful with great communication. We are planning to make this trip our new tradition, so we will see you next year! Thank you!!

Family Gatlinburg Trip

Great location! Convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the surrounding areas. This was a three generation trip with 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 2 1/2 - 8), and we all loved this property. Great views, loved the game room, and plenty of space for everyone. The neighborhood was nice too. We didn’t go to the pool, but it was nice to have the option available to us. Sabrina was very quick to respond to a couple of questions we had during our stay. Overall great stay.

Relaxing getaway in the mountains, but the attractions and fun a short distance away.

Very relaxing. Big enough to enjoy lots of family. And also large enough to have some privacy. Great place.

Beautiful, but won't stay again

This cabin is beautiful and has plenty of space. However, two couples in two different bedrooms got rained on during a storm. The upstairs bedroom floor was flooded and water was leaking from the walls, ceiling, bathroom ceiling, and down into the basement. Both couples were up most of the night because of it. When I contacted the host she simply replied "thanks for letting me know." For the amount of money we paid, we will not be returning.

Beautiful house in a perfect location

The house is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of space for the entire family. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, bathrooms are updated and I will miss the rain shower. My kids enjoyed the movie room and playing pool and Pac-Man. The living room is huge and could sit everyone comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed family dinners around the large table. The view is spectacular and the location of the house is perfect - right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We even saw a bear on the drive up to the house. We had a great time and I would rent this house again in the future.

Worth every penny!

Came with three couples for a long weekend. We had three SUVs and one van. Plenty of parking. From what we saw that's a luxury! Chalet was gorgeous, beds slept great, view was pretty. Outdoor furniture was very comfortable. Hot tub was small though. Maybe comfortable for two adults but not four. Game room and theatre were nice . We had a minor issue upon arrival, notified Sabrina, she came over very soon and issue was going to be resolved. The issue did not have an effect on our stay so all was great. She was very friendly and helpful. As far as driving up Wiley Oakley, up the mountain, it wasn't bad. In fact, lots of people were in for the weekend and it was nice being able to get to Gatlinburg via Wiley Oakley and not the main road. The furniture in the Theatre and decor in bedrooms could use some updating. We didn't cook in the chalet so I won't score that. The recliner furniture in the family area was very comfortable for 8 adults. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful weekend getaway!

I can't say enough great things about this beautiful property! We took a weekend trip to celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday with family. We spent more time in the cabin than out in town! We played pool, cooked, soaked in the hot tub, and watched football on the big TV with a fire going. We all took naps and relaxed so much! This cabin is absolutely gorgeous and the location is perfect between the two towns. The only drawback is the wi-fi isn't that great so a few of the smart TVs didn't work but that is a service issue, not the cabin. I 100% recommend this property and will definitely rent it again for our next trip!

Excellent cabin!

Our stay in this cabin was amazing. There was a ton of space for everybody, everything was very clean, the location is great, and the view is absolute amazing. I highly recommend it!

Annual Family Vacation

This was our first time to Gatlinburg my two daughters their spouses and my grand children. They cabin was amazing!! The host Sabrina was very responsive to our needs and available at all times. I would highly recommend this cabin and it's extrodinary views.

Perfect for families of all ages!

This property was clean and exactly as advertised. We had ages 3-16 and there was something for everyone. The area is safe and perfect for evening family walks. Communication easy and accurate with host.

AMAZING CABIN!

We had the very best time in this beautiful cabin. We had an issue with the internet and TV when we first got there. Sabrina sent out a crew immediately with a new TV in hand just in case it was the TV. Then the next day she had another internet crew come and fix the splitter box. She went Above and beyond for sure. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! The hot tub was wonderful, view spectacular and I would give 10/10 to whomever decorated the cabin. It had plenty of trash bags, towels, cooking equipment. The glasses in the cabin were green steel and I loved them! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

This is the best VBRO cabin I have ever rented. Super clean. Lots of games to play. We never left the cabin once we arrived and had our supplies for the week. Can’t wait to go back.

Greatest place ever!

We've stayed in many cabins in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, and this was by far the nicest! It is a large, roomy cabin, each bedroom has it's own bath plus it's own walk in closet. The media room sofa makes out into a bed and has it's own bath as well. There are two extra twin mattresses in the game room for sleeping as well as an ice machine, wine fridge, and microwave. This cabin is beautifully built, and beautifully decorated with sturdy furniture. The lighting is amazing, finally a place with enough light to read a book! There are wall speakers for the living room TV, and the fireplace is beautiful. An enormous deck with lots of rocking chairs, and an awesome view. This cabin sits on top of a mountain, expect steep curvy roads, but it's worth it when you reach this cabin. It was clean, the beds are comfy, and the kitchen has a Keurig as well as a regular coffee maker. Extra hand soap in the laundry room and an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Plenty of towels. The kitchen is equipped for minimal cooking. The only disappointment was communication with the host. The Pacman game stopped being free on the second day, and the children were really disappointed. I sent a mesage, asking if there was an easy fix, but I never received a reply. I sent another message the day we left, and sadly, no reply again. A bear visited us the second day, we loved it!
