Located near the top of Bluff Mountain, perfect for a honeymoon or romantic getaway. Enjoy the magnificent mountain views without ever having to leave your Smoky Mountain cabin. Fat Bottomed Squirrels is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, studio style cabin located about 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge. There are phenomenal views from this intimate cabin - you can see forever!

The cabin is a studio log cabin with a great Smoky Mountain view. Enjoy the covered deck with views for miles, hot tub and charcoal grill (charcoal not supplied). Inside there is massive, hand-crafted queen-size log bed. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen w/ dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig. It features a nice open floor plan with flat screen HDTV with cable, DVD player and Netflix, electric fireplace, and all linens supplied. Of course there is running water, central air/heat and high speed WiFi Internet.

Enjoy the convenience to area attractions like Dixie Stampede, Dollywood, and The Christmas Place.

The road up to the cabin is very STEEP. The access road to this cabin is paved but does have an incline. We can make it up in a Prius with no problem. This cabin is not for the less adventurous type. If you want to be near shopping and flat roads this is not for you. If you want to be near the park with a breathtaking view and hiking nearby... look no further!

Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended. 4-wheel drive is recommended for adverse winter conditions.

Cabin in the mountains
We saw a bear in the driveway! That was the highlight of our trip! Just a short drive to all the attractions! Unfortunately, a wedding venue was near so could hear the music and voices even during the week. But it wasn’t that bad! The hosts were great! Responded very quickly to my messages and to resolve and issues! We enjoyed our stay!

Nice property, great view. Very steep driveway. Have to say this is a nice place but if you want quiet like we wanted, then this is not the place to stay. There's a wedding venue behind the cabin that had a loud wedding all 3 days we were there. Very disappointed.

Cozy Mountain Hideaway
My husband and I absolutely loved this little gem! It is perfect for a couple seeking a peaceful getaway with its spectacular view. You're close enough to town to do things, but the cabin is secluded enough that you feel like you have complete privacy. We can't wait to visit again.

We spent two nights at this beautiful cabin. We absolutely loved it the minute we walked in the door. It was clean & welcoming. The view was stunning. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was close to all the attractions, yet you were in the peaceful mountains when you were done for the day. The porch was large & roomy. I would highly recommend. I can’t say enough about how clean it was. We truly enjoyed our stay! Would love to go back in Fall to enjoy the Fall colors.

The last mile of the drive was definitely not for the faint of heart and the bed was a little stiff, but overall the property is simply amazing. The views are breathtaking and the property is very well maintained. I highly recommend.

Nature lovers Dream
This had to be the most relaxing ,majestic peaceful stay I've ever experienced. You are literally up in the clouds. I couldn't believe the view from the front porch it overlooks the the entire town of pigeon forge and more its incredible!! The cabin is set up perfectly for a couple. It has everything you need and a very cabin vibe with beautiful hand made log furniture ,very cozy. Everything you need is closely located and just a few miles from Gatlinburg, lots of entertainment and places to eat and of course site see!! l we will be returning for sure. The host were great too!

Pictures do no justice!
The pictures in this listing do this property no justice whatsoever. Is absolutely beautiful. On top of the view being phenomenal, the cabinet self is updated. There is a wood flooring throughout stainless steel appliances, newer furniture, and updated bathroom, vanity and cute decor. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was clean and smelled good.. The host was very efficient with getting back to us if we messaged about anything. Check-in process was flawless with the keypad on the door. Everything worked as it should. we totally locked out with the weather being the middle of December, there was no snow or rain for our trip, but a vehicle with four-wheel-drive or a strong engine is very much recommended for climbing these steep hills. It’s only about the last mile to your cabin, that the incline gets pretty steep other than that it’s just normal mountain roads. One issue we did run into that we didn’t know is Seiverville is a dry county. If you are planning on taking any sort of alcoholic drinks, bring them with you otherwise, you will have to travel a couple counties over and it could be well over a 45 minute drive (and very costly). Thank you again for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back soon.

Great Smoky Mountain Experience!
This was a great Smoky Mountain area to stay in and had the BEST view! We only had one hiccup on our stay which involved the dishwasher still having dirty dishes because it was malfunctioning and the jacuzzi indoor tub not working properly. This was communicated to the owners, they responded promptly and checked in with us periodically. We enjoyed our stay here and plan on coming back! The drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was a good distance (Gatlinburg 12-15 miles) and Pigeon Forge (5 miles). We also visited Dollywood on a day trip since my fiancé had never been. Loved our trip! Thanks for welcoming us into your cabin, Pavan and Tracy!
