"Pros: free breakfast, a big room, nice staff, LOCATION! Cons: all smoking hotel, beds were uncomfortable, the nightlife nearby was loud, the hotel is run down Although this was an all smoking hotel, the staff did find us a room that didn’t smell! The room was huge and the bathroom was clean. The carpets looked awful though and the wall paper was peeling off. "This was our favorite hotel. It had everything it had an onsen with a massage chair and a laundry room which you can monitor the busyness of the laundry room or the onsen from your TV in your room- brilliant! So far it’s the only hotel we’ve seen in Japan, where they are actively trying to decrease the plastic waste. Instead of stocking all sorts of crap in the room they have it available at the elevators. This is a welcome change. All that plastic in Japan is driving us nuts."
