“Our hosts greeted us very nicely and were responsive to our messages about our arrival time and our request for information about the municipal water issue that occurred on one of the days we were there. The house is much nicer in actuality than what you see in the photos, and so is the garden. It is an old stone house with thick walls, so it was colder in the first floor of the house than outside (upstairs is cozier). The area is very interesting, we enjoyed it. “We had a great time staying here when we came to visit Verdun. We found the place to be very peaceful and we were able to really relax. The hostess was very friendly and was always available for our questions. We appreciated the many small details provided the hostess such as a lovely bouquet of wildflowers.”

It is well maintained though, and we found it comfortable. There are 4 separate double bedrooms and 1 more large attic space that can sleep 6 more. There are plenty of bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living/dining space on the ground floor. The attic is filled with toys for kids, the 1st floor has darts,……
