「Great short stay at Forest rise. Property surrounded by Kangaroos, looks like heaven. The 2 bedroom chalet was clean well furnished we enjoyed our stay. 」

「We really enjoyed our stay in this peaceful but very convenient cottage. Emily was very helpful and welcoming. The main bed is very comfortable, and cotton sheets a real bonus! It is fixed to the wall, which is slightly less convenient. We were unsure about the open bathroom, but actually enjoyed using it. Winter might be a bit different.」

「Loved the cottage we stayed in. Comfortable and clean, close to Yallingup and Dunsborough. Would definitely stay again. Only thing to bear in mind is no internet or oven but didnt affect us too much.」

「This quaint old world weatherboard cottage was charming and unique with its original paintings by a recognised WA artist. Being set in the middle of farming land allowed us to view all the beautiful local birdlife and the Aurora Australis at night. Our UK grandchildren were charmed by all the birdlife as well as the local roos and emus in the neighbouring paddocks. The cottage was well stocked and basics were provided. Being small there wasnt really any room for us to put our own provisions....

「The property was quiet and peaceful. A muddy water spa bath is hard to pass off as full of soothing minerals. Furniture was past its best and water pressure nonexistant. I would give it a 5 out of 10」

「Lovely cottage with comfortable beds and a great barbecue area. Very peaceful. Perfect spot. Only missing thing was the bunk room could do with a small bedside table and lamp 」

「This home is absolutely gorgeous and so so comfortable (and very clean as well!). Highlights were:- Spacious covered outdoor deck with awesome daybed and outdoor eating for 4- well equipped kitchen for 6 with local tea leaves, coffee beans and all the herbs / spices you need- beautiful local artwork painted by the owners daughter- kangaroos and magpies / lorrikerts coming to visit each morning and evening」

「The charm of this house is obvious. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Found a hairdresser in the homemaker centre 10 mins walk down the road. The owner Christine was attentive whenever needed. Downside..We were told of a shared laundry with the unit out the back. That turned out to be directly out of the kitchen door (which is securely locked from our side) onto an enclosed kitchen/ bathroom/bedroom area. We have family in Bunbury so could use their laundry facilities as we were a long-term...

「Highly recommend staying here. The house is cute and very well appointed and clean. Walking distance to town along the river walk. 」

「The cottage was well separated from the other cottages. The amenities were well appointed with cooking utensils, pots, pans and washing up liquid and drying towels. Everything required was there. There was a good selection of DVDs. The cottages were located amongst the trees on top of a hill overlooking the town of Balingup. a very picturesque setting.」
