Clean with good staff. not the most soundproof rooms, I was in a room facing the street, it got loud around 3am over the weekend.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preparations. Showers were hot. We kept fit negotiating the stairs to our room. Parking was secure.

It was the cheapest place to stay in Geraldton and it was quite good. It needs a reconstruction and it might be a great place. Parking is safe - behind the gate, so great. Room was quite empty, but okay for one or two nights stay. Toilets and showers were clean. Kitchen was big and easy to use.

The building is an old building that is clean and well maintained. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. Room had a small fridge and large smart TV.

The property is very old and the property photo deceiving. There was lots of unavoidable noise from other guests just going about normal things leading to creaks and bumps in the night. The room was small and the smell of air freshener overwhelming leading to headaches. The amenities were below par, leaking and a delay in the lights turning on after using the Switch. The bed was comfortable and clean and the staff lovely. How this property scores a 9 defies logic!!

A lovely, helpful lady greeted us. It's an older-style backpackers' accommodation with great kitchen facilities. However, don't do what I did and put everything in the kitchen. At midnight, I needed a bottle for my one-year-old and didn't realize the kitchen would be closed. Thankfully, my baby was content with strawberry milk. There's a first time for everything. We'll definitely be back in the future.

I didn't read the property details properly, so to my surprise there were no private amenities on the property. Essentially Shoreline Lodge is a backpackers Hostel. The rooms are private with a TV, Some have small balconies that overlook Marine Terrace. There is a communal kitchen with plenty of space (beware, gas supply is switched off automatically at 8.30), and have to finish clean up by 9. There is a combined communal lounge/dining room with a very big dining table, and a pool table, though I never saw it used. Upstairs there is a little coffee nook with tea and coffee facilities (The property supplies tea coffee sugar and mugs, Have your own little carton of milk in the fridge downstairs), and a little area with some seats, tables and a couple of scattered cushions to chill out having a quiet coffee. The bathroom being communal was nice and clean. The property has parking available out the back. The 2 greatest things about this property, one, its location. On Marine Terrace on the foreshore. The town centre, dining, bars were all a short walk, as was the foreshore and the town beach. Its other great feature were the staff. I arrived after checkin, So had to liaise from afar to organise access. Jodie was fantastic, the entire team are very happy and helpful. Its not 4 stars, but a convenient and happy place to rest. Be aware that all rooms are located upstairs, if you have enhanced mobility requirements, it may not be suitable.
