Welcome to Gerolstein—welcome home! Our two holiday apartments, located in a detached two-family home, were fully renovated to a high standard in 2023. We value quality, but also comfort and warmth—you’ll find high-quality beds, mattresses, blankets, and pillows here, and all rooms are furnished not only in a modern style but also to be cosy. <br><br>Please note! Since there have been misunderstandings in the past: Please bring your own towels and bed linens. For an additional fee and upon prior request, we’d be happy to provide both. Please specify this when booking or at least 3 business days before arrival! Thank you very much! This listing describes our ground-floor holiday rental, “Bärs Kuschelhöhle,” which includes exclusive use of our fenced-in garden and the terraces surrounding the house, accessible from one of the two bedrooms as well as from the kitchen-living room.<br><br>Our beautiful, fenced-in garden invites you to linger—relax by our fire pit or use our grill. This apartment features two large bedrooms (1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed), a spacious kitchen-dining area with a fully equipped, new kitchenette and seating for six at the large dining table, a living room with an 85-inch flat-screen TV and comfortable sofas, as well as a modern bathroom with a bathtub. Pets are not only welcome here, but warmly welcomed—and there’s no limit to how many you can bring. For an additional fee of 25 euros, we’d be happy to provide you with a linens package—you’ll find your beds freshly made, and towels laid out for you. You’ll always find a basic supply of spices, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, dishcloths, trash bags, and, of course, a selection of coffee pods for our coffee machine. <br><br>Wi-Fi is, of course, available free of charge throughout the house.<br><br>As native residents of Gerolstein, we’re happy to help you plan your leisure activities and holiday. Whether it’s a mountain bike tour, guided horseback rides, riding lessons, a motorcycle tour, hiking, or tennis—we know the area well and are more than happy to assist you with advice and practical help. <br><br>Our holiday home features two separate holiday apartments. Ample parking is available right next to the house. If you’re travelling by motorcycle, you can use our lockable garage upon request. Please note that this holiday apartment does not have a washing machine.<br><br>We’re centrally located in Gerolstein—for example, you can walk to city centre Gerolstein in under 5 minutes, as well as to our large outdoor and indoor swimming pools. From city centre Gerolstein, various hiking trails lead towards Löwenburg, the Eifelsteig, and Munterley. Incidentally, you can see the latter Gerolstein landmark from some of the rooms in the house as well as from our garden. <br><br>Restaurants and shopping are also within walking distance. <br><br>Services available for an additional fee (please make a separate enquiry) include a morning bread roll service, motorcycle rentals (Harley-Davidson Softtail Slim), e-mountain bike rentals, and a full range of equestrian activities. <br><br>We look forward to welcoming you and your loved ones—from the bottom of our hearts, welcome to Gerolstein, welcome to our home!
