「After having driven over 900 kms to checkin at the Across Motel, my Amex was declined although I was told it’s accepted which annoyed me. On checking into the room, all I wanted was a shower, but at best it could only be described as a dribble and very unsatisfying. The traffic noise was atrocious and I barely slept. I checked out at 3am, couldn’t sleep, mainly because of the noise and security light that flooded the room. Very underwhelming experience.」

「The property is a small block of 7 ensuite rooms with tv, tea-making and a small table n chairs. There is also a comfortable shared common lounge and basic kitchen available to use. It is located close to the base hospital and a rehabilitation (stroke, amputation etc) unit. The idea of this property is for families or patients to have affordable accommodation nearby the centres of healthcare. The same organisation also operates 2 much larger accommodation properties nearby.」

「Clean room and bathroom, good shower pressure, and convenient parking right outside the door. The room also had tea and coffee facilities, plus a fridge and microwave. We had a comfortable and restful night before heading back on the road.」

「Having stayed here previously, the motel is of a very good standard for a medium sized western town. There was only one minor issue. The Staff were all excellent offering advice on where to eat, the air conditioning worked well and there was ample parking」

「Excellent walking distance to shops and dining options, lovely pool, most comfortable bed. Perhaps an improvement in WiFi would be good.」

「Room was extremely outdated, shower drain started to over flow. Bed was warned and uncomfortable. Unfortunately the room had dirt and flies everywhere with no cleanup in the stairwell as beer bottles and ashtray full of water and cigarettes butts we’re left there.」
