Hotel is close to the center and yet quiet. Rooms are fine, good bed and a good bathroom. The acoustics of the breakfast room could be improved. Enjoyed it wonderfully.

Nettes Hotel, Parkplatz Sitation no Go

Der Parkplatz ist zwar kostenlos dafür hat man aber auch nur den Platz wie in einer Sardinenbüchse. Total eng man kommt fast nicht ins oder aus dem Auto heraus. Der Service Betten machen, etc. findet nur jeden zweiten Tag statt.

Ein schöner Empfang macht noch kein modernes Hotel

Die Zimmer sind sauber und ruhig, auch optisch ansprechend. Jedoch sollte man nicht vom aufwendig und sehr modern gestalteten Empfang auf den Zustand der Zimmer schließen. Die Badezimmer sind aus den 70ern und versprühen entsprechend auch genau diesen Charme, die Armaturen erlauben kaum ein normales Duschen ohne ständige Temperaturwechsel, und mit den Brauseschläuchen kann man sich kinderleicht erwürgen. Sehr gut ist die extrem zentrale Lage, man ist im Handumdrehen im Ortszentrum.

Rent og pænt

Værelset var rent og pænt og ligeledes badeværelse. Eneste minus for os var, at restauranten ikke havde åbent. Vi vil helst bo et sted med restaurant, så vi ikke skal ud at lede efter det, da vi på det tidspunkt har kørt 12 timer og vi medbringer hund, som det er svært at få ind på restauranter nogle gange.

Sauberes Hotel, sehr freundlich, tolles Frühstück.

Gute Lage, man ist in der Innenstadt mit Restaurant und Geschäften, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und schneller Service. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Zimmer war sehr sauber, würde künftig aber statt Standardeinzelzimmer eher das Comfort- EZ oder ein DZ reservieren. Das Restaurant im Hause hatte leider Ruhetag. Komme gerne wieder

Zentrale, angenehme Unterkunft in Gevelsberg

Sehr gute Erfahrung, bequem gelegen im Zentrum von Gevelsberg. Mein Zimmer war etwas dunkel, aber mit Licht ging es gut. Nervig war allerdings, dass das Bettlaken sowohl als der Matrazenschutz nicht passten und immer dicke, unbequeme Wulste verursachten beim Drehen im Bett. Ein Spannbettlaken und ein der Matrazengroesse entspechender Schutz wuerden dieses Uebel beheben.

Wir lieben dieses hübsche Hotel und kommen immer wieder gerne hierhin. Jedes Zimmer ist individuell gestaltet und dennoch sieht man den roten Faden, der sich bei der liebevollen Dekoration durch das Hotel zieht. Selbst die Standardzimmer strahlen aufgrund ausgewählter Accessoires fast die gleiche Gemütlichkeit aus, wie die der höheren Kategorien.

Wir waren nun schon zum dritten Mal innerhalb eines halben Jahres hier, hatten jetzt zum zweiten Mal ganz spontan gebucht und wurden mit einem wunderschönen Zimmer überrascht. Es ist ein wirklich hübsches, gemütliches Hotel, sehr liebevoll ausgestattet und trotz sehr zentraler Lage absolut ruhig gelegen. Bei sämtlichen Aufenthalten wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Dieses Mal nutzten wir aufgrund später Anreise die Schlüsselbox, deren Code bekamen wir per Anruf. Alles sehr nett und unkompliziert. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern war stets hervorragend, die Ausstattung beinhaltete alles, was man für eine Übernachtung braucht. Da es uns hin und wieder in den Pub18 zieht, wird auch künftig Die Alte Redaktion unsere 1. Wahl in puncto Unterkunft sein. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon sehr aufs nächste Mal.

Great business hotel

Hotel Alte Redaktion is a lovely hotel, newly renovated. It is directly off the main road of Gevelsberg so very easy to get around by foot or car from the hotel. I stayed in a double room and it was a good size. The common front area of the hotel is a welcoming place and good for a beer and a chat with other guests. Finally, the staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Debs at the front desk was very cool as was the breakfast crew. Thanks for a great stay.
