「The room was relatively clean, could use a dusting, lots of old cobwebs in corners, and when moving a chair dirt and dead bugs on the floor and in corners, but it provided a cheap place to spend a night, check in was easy, and front desk was friendly.」

「This was a lovely little oasis. Small but mighty comes to mind. The need was exceptionally comfortable and the sheets were amazingly soft! Tiny little bathroom but it has everything we needed and more. Clean as a whistle as well. All the stars, especially for the price point. 」

「Overall, disappointing. I chose a pricier place for a wedding visit, and this was a letdown. It was basically a glorified motel. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and very cheap. There was no iron in the room. The bedding is tired, and the bathroom needs to be updated. I could hear guests above and below us. It was basically a glorified motel. For $200 a night in Powell River, I expected more. There is no breakfast on site.」

「Kitchen was great. Had microwave, fridge freezer, hotplate, coffee maker and kettle. Even an air fryer. Had everything we needed. Place was clean and comfortable . I'd give the bed a top rating, slept really well. Although some aspects of the room was a little worn (floor/tub) I think the age of the property and price reflects this, so it wasn't something I would not have expected or was personally bothered by.
