"Tiny village in beautiful rural setting. Village has many abondoned and derelict houses but this residence has been beautifully renovated, as have others in the village. Everything you could need is provided and it is beautifully decorated. Quiet and peaceful surroundings and a wonderful place for peace and contemplation, and to explore the region of Rioja. Hosts are wonderful and have thought of everything."

"We loved this apartment in Haro! It was close to everything we wanted to do and see. From the train station it’s about a 20 minute walk, with some uphills. Check-in was straight forward if you follow the preregistration guidelines. We stayed in a Limehouse just prior to Haro and love their setup, they think of everything. "Emplacement idéal dans le centre historique à quelques pas des services, restaurants, épiceries et le quartier de la gare où se trouvent les bodegas des maisons célèbres du Rioja. Un des meilleurs hébergements à vie ! Je recommande fortement ! Seul point négatif, il n’y a pas de stationnement privé et ce n’est pas toujours évident de trouver du stationnement gratuit dans les rues."

"Very clean Polite staff, good English. Asked me to move my motorcycle right to the front of reception, very happy with that. Breakfast was good. 10 minutes walk to centre. Recommended for anyone with a motorcycle. TV had Netflix, YouTube, prime etc. Wifi was a bit slow at times, but I was watching YouTube while using my ipad. I'd stay against."

"I don’t consider the hotel a worthy B&B badge holder. I requested a room for a disabled person, I received no acknowledgement, on arrival around 8pm I asked the staff if the bathroom was suitable for disability and he confirmed yes. I got to the room and it was not disabled friendly. Unfortunately I went straight to a meeting and was unable to query or change rooms. It is extremely dangerous for me to try and enter/exit a bath. Why don’t staff read or respond to a request. This frequently happens. On going to bed there was only a sheet no blanket no duvet so I increased the aircon, it didn’t heat and I spent a cold 10c night unfair sheet. I use B&B a lot but will now review my options. "

"This place is stunning! Old school room key (loved it!) and a beautifully renovated property with indoor (and outdoor) parking. Excellent place to spend a night or two during your trips. Going in my expectations were not high, but this place felt high end and the amenities, both inside and outside the hotel were fantastic. Right in the center of town too, so super convenient. Recommend it."

"This hotel was special. Uniquely constructed from the previous ruins, impeccably appointed in the charming village of Briones. Food was great, staff exceptional, especially Maria on the front desk (although she seemed to be everywhere!), quick to smile and always helpful. The terrace on the second floor has a marvelous view over the Rioja countryside. Highly recommended!"

"I cannot recommend this hotel. Staff is not welcoming. Our room overlooked a ramshackled building in the back. I went and complained about the view and was offered a different room, but was told to basically expect that because we had after all booked a “standard room, and through Hotels.com”. There were 10 cars in the parking lot, so not many guests, but I was also told that because I only booked for 1 night, the other rooms were reserved for guests that were arriving the next day who had booked for 2 nights. I was offered an upgrade for an additional fee. Our room had no closet to speak off (concrete cubby with 5 hangers). There was not enough light, (they had to come and replace one or the 5 miniature halogeen lamps). Breakfast was included and we were the first to arrive in the morning. We were told to sit at any table we wanted, but then were quickly told that we could only use a table without glasses on them. So we moved. Weird! Cups for your coffee had no saucers, so you put them directly on your tablecloth. I could go on, but whoever reads this will quickly understand that this is an overrated hotel without proper hospitality. I asked for a bill/reciept on departure, but was told that they couldn’t give one (even though they asked for my credit card on arrival) because I had after all pre-paid through Hotels.com. So why did they need a credit card? I left with a dismissed feeling."
