"A great property with plenty of space for families staying together. The swimming pool was excellent and the children loved it. A very quiet location, no noise from cars or roads but plenty of places to visit if you take the car!"

"Grande maison avec un grand jardin, a l'écart du village, bien au calme. Le ménage n'est pas très bien fait mais reste convenable. Bon séjour d'une semaine. Base de loisir avec plage et baignade surveillée a moins de 20 minutes de route. Rapport qualité prix de la semaine excellent!"

"Martine was there to meet us when we arrived, very friendly and helpful. Her English was better than our French. The property was as advertised - a well-stocked kitchen with induction hob (and all the right pots and pans for this), a clean oven, and all the cutlery and utensils we'd be likely to need. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and even the cockerel had the manners not to start crowing (is that the right word?) until around 10am, so sleep wasn't interrupted. It's a really quiet village but within very easy reach of a good supermarket with lots of fresh food and vegetables. It was a really, really hot week when we went and the prolonged drought meant that the grounds were totally parched, but there's plenty of space and after a little rain it will all be green again. During the week, we travelled as far south as Le Mans and Mont Saint-Michel, and up to the Normandy beaches in the north, and still had places we wanted to see and didn't have time. So, recommended for a week or longer, although I think shorter lets are available. We travelled from Portsmouth in the UK to Caen by ferry, which was really convenient and the drive to the house took less than an hour - once we'd got through customs."

"A beautiful and very quiet calm place to stay. The hosts were extremely helpful and the recommendations for local places to visit were most welcome. The room was brilliantly executed (the Pigeonnerie) and the breakfast excellent."

"La maison et le jardin font penser à un château (sic ma petite fille de 10 ans)Très belle location rare (décoration, propreté, prestations, ...) parfaite pour un séjour familial (5 enfants de 3 à 10 ans). Très bien située par rapport aux sites remarquables de la région (châteaux, randonnées, haras, musées, ...).Angélique (la propriétaire) est d'une rare disponibilité, gentillesse et efficacité.Location à recommander "

"Das Haus war fantastisch und absolut sauber, der Garten war gigantisch, der Pool einwandfrei. Der Gastgeber war immer greifbar und hat schnell auch auf Textnachrichten und Mails reagiert, Die Küchenausstattung war exzellent. Wir waren wirklich sehr begeistert und überlegen schon, ob wir einfach noch einmal wiederkommen."
