"This hotel is very old and very dirty. It is also unsafe and dangerous. The hotel uses smart locks for all its rooms, and the codes are all the same. The code is simply your room number plus 35. Therefore, you can imagine how easy it is for anyone to enter the correct code and gain access to your room at any time. The hotel is also staffed by dishonest and immature individuals. On the fifth day, the power went out, providing an opportune moment for one of the staff members to enter my room and steal my slippers. After I left and threatened to involve the authorities, my slippers were miraculously “found” underneath the mattress. According to the staff, my slippers must have moved themselves from the front door, lifted the mattress, and placed themselves underneath it. Naturally, the security cameras were not working, so no one could identify who had actually entered my room. Therefore, the view is definitely not worth it. There is absolutely no security, and the staff cannot be trusted. The surrounding neighbourhood is also very noisy and dirty. There are scammers and beggars everywhere."

"Staying at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino was the highlight of my Cairo trip. Excellent and accommodating check-in, exceptionally clean room, great views of the Nile River, and hospitable staff. Ismail (desk manager) and Ramy (receptionist) provided 5-Star service, ensuring I had an easy and seamless stay. I felt very safe as this hotel provided 24/7 high-end security, and I also enjoyed breakfast and quick in-room dining. I will absolutely stay at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino again, and cannot thank Ismail, Ramy, and staff enough for ensuring I had an amazing first stay in Cairo."

"Our experience at this hotel has been truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived in Egypt, we felt welcomed, cared for, and at home. Traveling to a new country can sometimes feel overwhelming, but this experience made everything so much more special and comfortable for us. I especially want to give Ahmed the recognition he deserves, because he played such a big part in making our stay memorable. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. He made sure we were comfortable, helped everything run smoothly, and made us feel like more than just guests. It is rare to meet someone who puts so much heart into what they do, and Ahmed truly made a difference in our experience. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Ahmed, for making our time here feel so special. People like him are what make a place unforgettable. We came as guests, but we are leaving with grateful hearts and wonderful memories."

"Location is simply unbeatable, with the hotel entrance right in front of the ticket office for the Pyramids. The views are absolutely breathtaking, both from the terrace and from the rooms overlooking the Pyramids. Waking up to such a view is an experience in itself! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with particularly comfortable beds. However, what truly makes this place exceptional is its people. The hospitality and kindness of every single member of staff made our stay unforgettable. A special thank you to Iman and Salma at reception, Amira from housekeeping, Mohammed from the breakfast team, the Dr Shisha, and Mustafa, Ahmed and Ali from the restaurant team. Wish we had had enough time to get everyone's names because they all deserve recognition. They went above and beyond to make my mum’s birthday trip unforgettable. Their genuine care and attention made us feel so welcome that we really didn’t want to leave. I must also mention the lovely cats around the terrace! They added an extra touch of charm to an already magical experience. The funny thing is that we initially came to explore Egypt, but now, if we return to discover more of this beautiful country, we would happily come back just to stay at this hotel again! I have stayed in many hotels, but this one has genuinely stolen my heart. The views may bring you here, but the people will make you want to stay. Thank you for giving us memories we will cherish forever. ❤️"

"Great location for view of the GEM + Pyramids in the distance - without the price of the Steigenberger Hotel. Don’t be fooled by the front as you approach. Very friendly staff! Our room was nice and clean, our bathroom was large, and the rooftop patio is is lovely with nice music playing. Food is prepared one dish at a time so plan to wait awhile. A nice served breakfast (not buffet). The beds was on the hard side for us and the pillows could be better but that wouldn’t keep us from staying again. It’s a great choice for the price paid!"
