“We just got back from staying at Bellavista for a week, and be "we", I mean a very large family including infants, toddlers, kids, teenagers, uncles, aunts, and even grandma. In fact, we probably were slightly above the stated capacity of the house, but our hostess Laurie was very communicative and responsive. It was easy to work out with her ahead of time that the property could accommodate us. We had an absolute blast at this property. The pool / patio / screened in porch area is an ideal hang……

“I stayed at John’s cabin with my husband and our 1-year old son toward the end of August. This was our second time staying at his cabin as our close friends own the cabin next door. It’s always so perfect and I never want to leave. The lake is right outside the back door and the deck gets amazing sunlight. The sunsets are priceless. If I have my way, it will be an annual tradition for our family for years to come!”

“Beautiful cabin in beautiful setting. Cabin was well furnished, had well stocked kitchen, and modern amenities. There were lots of attractions within 30 minute, scenic drives from the cabin such as Tanglewood, Monument Mountain, and other Berkshire and Columbia County attractions. Avid cyclists will find smooth roads with good shoulders and light traffic. As noted n another review, there is a rail line about one mile from the cabin, thus inevitable noise on occasion. It was well worth the trade……

“Such a clean and tidy cottage that was decorated so cute. We felt at home. The property was conveniently located to SPAC and the Hosts were super friendly. Great stay! ”

“Communication with the host was great. My father had a medical issue beyond the refund window that stopped us from making the original reservation date, Owner allowed us to move our date out a couple of weeks. Everything was clean, the kitchen and dishes were clean. The bathroom was brand new. All of the beds were comfy and clean. I slept on the couch bed in the third room, it was firm and comfortable. It was a great location for us. We were originally from the area and went back to visit……
