Communicatie met eigenaar altijd vlot en vriendelijk, verwelkoming was hartelijk en we kregen allerlei bruikbare tips over de omgeving. Het uitchecken ging al net zo hartelijk. Het huisje is afgelegen in bosrijke omgeving, precies wat we wilden: heerlijk in de tuin gezeten en in de omgeving gewandeld. Ook prima plek om van hieruit naar bilbao te gaan, rondtoeren, maar het strand. Het huisje is pittoresk, goed onderhouden, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien.

La casa es preciosa y la ubicación una fantasía, está situada en un bosque matavilloso, ideal para relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza, completamente acondicionada, para mí no la falta ningún detalle, también te permite conocer el maravilloso Pais Vasco y sus gentes, todo espectacular! Y en cuanto a los anfitriones, son encantadores, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte y aconsejarte de cómo disfrutar de la estancia e incluso conocer la zona en profundidad, vamos les doy un Súper 10, conclusión volvería y recomiendo este alojamiento, nos llevamos una experiencia increíble, gracias Imanol por tu paseo y tú disposición y a Beatriz por ser tan amable, sois encantadores, todo ha sido perfecto y un placer conoceros

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist herrlich ruhig und abgelegen, umgeben von duftenden Eukalyptusbäumen – ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Besonders angenehm war, dass trotz des kleinen Baches in der Nähe keinerlei Mücken aufgetreten sind.Das Haus selbst bietet eine einfache, eher rudimentäre Ausstattung. Dinge wie Backofen und Spülmaschine fehlen, dafür bleibt es selbst bei hohen Außentemperaturen angenehm kühl, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Der eingezäunte Garten ist praktisch, gerade wenn man mit Kindern oder Hund unterwegs ist.Wichtig zu wissen: Es handelt sich um einen Teil des Hauses, der vermietet wird. Insgesamt aber ein schöner Rückzugsort für alle, die Ruhe und Natur suchen.

Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund für 12 Tage im Haus und haben einerseits die ruhige Umgebung und andererseits die Nähe zu Bilbao genossen. Beatrice hat uns gute Tips für schöne Ausflüge gegeben. Es gibt viel zu entdecken, neben tollen Städten, gibt es schöne Strände und Möglichkeiten zu wandern. Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein. Zu zweit war es ok, aber für vier Personen ist die Ausstattung etwas dürftig. Wir könnten uns vorstellen nochmal hierher zu kommen.

Casa Mayor, Gordexola

Lovely house in serene countryside. It's some distance from Bilbao which was my target destination but the bus service was efficient and punctual. The one-mile walk from the property to the bus-stop was through an extremely peaceful woodland setting. Imanol was the perfect host.Assisted by Imanol's car I had no difficulty navigating the area & spending my evenings in friendly Gordexola so a hire car was not essential for me.

A perfect holiday

The country house is situated in a quiet street in the middle of an eucalyptus forest. The appartment was clean and spaceous. We had enough space with 3 adults a teenager and a dog. The cosy appartment is decorated with an eye for lovely details, where you feel at home immediately. The communication with the landlady -Beatrice- was very nice and kind. She always answered in short time and gave us many tips for visits in the Basque area. We enjoyed the visits in the area very much BUT it was always nice to come back "home" in the evening and sit in the garden or in the kitchen. We can recommend this object very much, we will be back! Very nice stylisch accomodation, friendly & helpfull owner

Well looked after accomodation. The pictures of the accomodation on the website represent the reality. Nice and quite area, enough space in the house and in the garden. Very friendly owner, who gives a lot of advizes of what to do in the area and in Bilbao. Pricewise: fair price for what you get! I would advise the accomodation to other people.

Schöne Wohnung im Grünen nahe Bilbao

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung in einem landestypischen Steinhaus. Zur Wohnung gehört ein kleiner Balkon (mit max 4 Leuten nutzbar) und ein Garten. Nach 20 minütiger Fahrt waren wir mitten in Bilbao. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich. Wir bekamen wunderbare Ausflugstipps, Restaurantempfehlungen und Infos. An einem Abend hatten wir die Möglichkeit im Jeep in die Berge hoch zu fahren und hatten eine wundervolle Aussicht im Sonnenuntergang!

Het was even zoeken om het verblijf te vinden daar het wat afgelegen lag. Maar de enthousiaste gastvrouw stond ons reeds op te wachten. We ontvingen veel tips over wat er allemaal te beleven valt. Het huisje ligt op een rustige locatie in de bossen met slechts enkele buren. Het huisje is proper en alles is aanwezig.

Schöner Familienurlaub im Baskenland

Wir verbrachten als Familie mit zwei Teenagern drei schöne Juli-Wochen in dieser Ferienunterkunft (es handelt sich um einen Teil des Natursteinhauses). Die Lage ist ruhig und abgelegen und hat uns sehr zugesagt. Zu hören sind lediglich Kuhglocken, Hundegebell und des Nachts die Frösche - also ländlich und entspannend. Im Garten und auf der kleinen Veranda lässt es sich auch gut sitzen, sofern das Wetter es zulässt. Wir waren ganz froh, dass es in Nordspanien nicht ganz so heiß wird. Gelegentlicher Regen hat uns nicht gestört. Bei Dauerregen und wenn man nicht so oft draußen sein kann, hätte uns das kleine Wohnzimmer zu Viert vermutlich nicht ausgereicht (der Platz auf dem Sofa ist eher eng und dieser fensterlose Wohnbereich ist nur mit Lampenlicht nutzbar. Die Betreuung durch die Gastgeber war sehr, sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit! Es gab viele Tipps für Ausflüge und wir kamen sogar in den Genuß von zwei "Auto-Expeditionen" mit dem Gastgeber in die nahegelegenen Berge mit einem großartigen Panorama über die schöne Landschaft. Zahlreiche Sandstrände der Biskayaküste sind mit dem Auto in einer halben Stunde auch gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank an Beatriz und Imanol, dass wir das Baskenland auf so angenehme Art kennenlernen durften :-) P.S.: Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur (fewo-direkt) habe ich mit 5 Sternen bewertet, da es ein Pflichtfeld ist, aber tatsächlich fand eigentlich gar keine Kommunikation statt, die ich hätte bewerten können.

Apartamento Rural cerca Bilbao y paraje increíble

Nos ha gustado el alojamiento y la gran ayuda de Imanol en todo momento, está en un paraje inigualable. Pero una vez que hemos estado allí creo que falta información importante en la descripción del alojamiento , no es una casa , se trata de un apartamento dentro de un caserio con un jardín privado muy bueno y tampoco hay una foto del salón que es acogedor pero muy pequeño nosotros éramos 4 y apenas cabíamos. Las camas muy cómodas, todo muy limpio y con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia.

We enjoyed our stay in such a peaceful location. Beatriz is a wonderful host and provided us with a whole range of places to visit. The property is clean and comfortable and the garden is very well kept and practical for eating outside. It really is a fantastic base from where to explore the surrounding area such as Bilbao, the coast as well as nearby towns and villages. Excellent!

Mucha amabilidad y limpieza

Beatriz es una anfitriona estupenda (también su hermano, Imanol). La recepción ha sido muy amable y flexible. Nos impresionó la limpieza de la casa ya que cada verano alquilamos una casa con una gran variedad de resultados ;-). La zona es tranquila y preciosa, rodeado de la naturaleza, que es lo que buscábamos. Sin embargo, está a 20 minutos de la vidilla que ofrece el centro de Bilbo. Altamente recomendable si lo que buscas es tranquilidad. ————- Beatriz is a great host (as well as her brother, Imanol). The reception was very friendly and flexible. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the house since every summer we rent a house with a variety of results ;-). The area is quiet, beautiful and surrounded by forest, which is what we were looking for. However, it is 20 minutes from the lively center of Bilbao. Highly recommended if what you are looking for is peace and quiet.
