“This house/property are very clean and well maintained. Photos from the listing are accurate. Lake view from the secluded location is beautiful. Pier is excellent with paddle board, kayaks, canoe, paddle boat & lily pad provided. Kitchen is well socked, beach towels were provided.I have no cons per se, but there were several things that made this a "not right for us" rental that I wish I had known in advance. - The cove is at the bottom of a ravine and doesn't have much flow/current, so was……

“Beautiful place. Beds were very comfortable. View of the lake was perfect! Only problem was that the pictures were a bit deceiving. The rooms looked larger in the pictures. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next year!”

“We had a great stay at Lazy Days Lodge! Allison was an amazing host — very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the trip. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to relax after long days on the water. The location was perfect — easy access right off the highway and only about 5 minutes from the marina where we launched our boat, which made everything very convenient. The area was quiet, parking was easy, and the house was stocked……

“Our stay was wonderful at their property. It was perfect location. Setting was so peaceful and quiet. We had a two-year-old‘s birthday party here the outdoor screened in porch was amazing for this. We loved how each panel of the screens were able to go up and down individually. communication with the host The entire time was flawless. Their kitchen is supplied with anything you could possibly need including cooking spices and oils along with flour and sugar However, the island in the kitchen……

“Beautiful house! It had enough room for all 9 of us with plenty extra. It was stocked with kitchen supplies, and the outside area had a pretty view. Would definitely book here again!”

“High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy.”

“Beautiful quaint cabin! Had everything you could need. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.”

“Allison was very quick at responding if anything popped up during our stay. She was efficient and effective with her communication. The pond was AMAZING and our dog Raven had an absolute blast! Thank you for allowing your space to host dogs as well so we could have this great weekend with our family!”

“The property was nice and peaceful. It was nice to have the grill and firepit on the property.”

“Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.”

“Super clean tiny house, the best shower head I have used in years, shady outdoor space with picnic tables. No stove but a hot plate to use. Beautiful decor. Great communication. I really enjoyed our stay.”
