It was in a decent location and was clean. However it did smell of something and the smell was difficult to shake… even with the windows and doors left open. There were lots of little things missing: no dish towels to dry dishes, no effective plug in sink to do dishes, no bread knife to cut bread, no iron or ironing board, no where to hang washing. All in all it was a pleasant trip. Gortahork is stunning. The soft furnishings in the house were decent but the smell of the house and all the little things need a bit of attention
Stayed 3 nights in May 2026
