"One of a kind hotel. I believe there are only 2 rooms in the property. The owner met me when I checked in and explained how to lower the blinds facing the street as the shower and toilet are facing the street. Well designed in general but it took me awhile to locate light swithces. The owner helped me book a nearby restaurant Motontoko where the owner chef is a fisherman who serves the fish he caught that day. "

"Close to great trekking on Onidake grassy caldera and sea-view ridgewalk and Camellia Forest, great food so take the plan and shuttle from the port so bring doggy but leave the car at Nagasaki!"

"The staff was so kind and attentive. They really made our stay. They altered our dinner to our preferences, they gave us a premium free room upgrade without us even asking, they helped us book taxis and we’d just so warm. The onsen was also wonderful - outdoors under starry night. There was wine tasting included. The place is rustic but so characterful. "
