It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. 「We stayed 2 nights and paid £114 per night for bed and breakfast in a Heritage room called Irvine. The soundproofing in the room was shocking with a loud humming noise coming from behind our bed and the noise of doors slamming and guests talking. When I reported this to receptionist she acknowledged that the humming noise was from the room next door’s plumbing. I was not offered a different room. We were visited by both a spider and cockroach in the bathroom. I would therefore strongly recommend...
