  • Rural stone farmhouse, from the early '900, completely renovated, in a hilly area, with wonderful views of Lake Bolsena. Surrounded by over 6 hectares of fenced land and cultivated with vegetable garden, fruit trees, purgatory beans, olive trees and vines. The undivided property has a private swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and a large garden. The pool has a height of 135 cm.

    The internal structure is about 160 square meters, on two levels.
    Ground floor: kitchen, fully equipped; living room with two sofa beds (mattresses 150 cm) and piano.
    First floor: two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The bedrooms and the living room are equipped with air conditioning.
    The larger groups will be able to take advantage of the sofa beds as well as the basement: a studio with a kitchenette and a double bed (height of the basement 190 cm). The bathroom in the basement, which has an entrance from the outside, has a large shower and a washing machine.
    Exterior: Swimming pool, garden, covered veranda, jacuzzi for 5 people, terrace and beautiful pergola. Barbecue and wood oven.

    The Casale "Antico Corniolo" will be the ideal destination for lovers of nature, sport, wellness and music.

    For sports lovers, in addition to all those that can be practiced in the Lake of Bolsena, possibility to make numerous excursions on foot or by mountain bike; riding stables 500 meters from the property.

    Lovers of food and wine tourism will discover the flavors of the past, tasting our ancient fruits and the renowned purgatory beans, as well as our extra virgin olive oil and local wines.
    On request cooking and bakery courses.
    And for those who love relaxation? The landscape, the sun and the mini swimming pool, equipped with aromatherapy, chromotherapy and stereo system, will know how to help you .....     Curiosity:
    The farmhouse takes its name from the cornel tree, an ancient and forgotten fruit.
    The wood of this plant is one of the hardest, most flexible and resistant of our regions. In the past it was used to make spokes of wheels, agricultural tools and various tools. Also used for the construction of Roman javelins, the cornus indicated at the same time the tree and the weapon; it is mentioned by Virgil in the Aeneid and Ovid in the Metamorphosis.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay in GradoliOur family had the most incredible time at this home. To be honest, I wish I could gatekeep this place and all its specialness so fewer tourists would find out about it! The home itself is a perfect blend of historic Italian charm and modern amenities. It was spotless, had a breathtaking view, a hot tub, pool, a washer, dishwasher, and air conditioning—everything we could possibly need. Her mother, Chef Lidia, even came to the home and made us homemade gnocchi and tiramisu. It was so delicious we had her come back for a second time at the end of our trip!The location is a dream. The town of Gradoli is so quaint and picturesque, and it’s a short drive to the slightly bigger city of Bolsena, without the hustle and crowds of places like Florence. We effortlessly rented a boat locally and went out on Lake Bolsena.However, the absolute best part of our stay was the hospitality of our host, Daniela. She went above and beyond to make our trip special. She coordinated tennis for my husband and me at a local club just five minutes away, even though the owner didn't speak English. She also called local gyms to confirm we could drop in. When we took a trip to Florence for an evening, she sent us her favorite food and entertainment spots.This home truly felt like a special experience, and we have already booked our return for next year. We can't recommend this place and Daniela's hospitality enough.

Nydelig hus med utsikt over Bolsenasjøen. Alt man trenger med basseng og uteplass med fantastisk utsikt. Rolige omgivelser med Gradoli i nærheten der man kan handle og kjøpe morgen kaffe. Huset er et godt utganspunkt for å utforske mange andre byer og landsbyer i nærheten.

Great location

Lovely house and wonderful garden, great for dog owners. We enjoyed the view from the pool over the lake. Owners were very helpful and took care of everything. Silent place, ideal for relaxation.

Escapade en famille à 2h de Rome

Endroit idéal pour une famille qui cherche le calme et la tranquillité. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont vraiment top pour se ressourcer après une balade ou une sortie en VTT. Maison située à 5' en voiture du lac où vous trouverez de nombreux restaurants qui proposent une terrasse juste en bord de lac. L annonce et les photos correspondent tout à fait à la description de la maison. Encore merci à Daniella et ses parents pour leurs nombreux conseils.

Ruhe und tolle Aussicht

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegenes Haus in einem Garten mit grossem Umschwung. Das Haus sowie der Garten waren gepflegt und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Der Blick auf den Lago de Bolsano war wunderbar. Die Aussicht konnte auch vom warmen Whirlpool aus genossen werden.

tolles Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage

Ferienhaus für 6 Personen in der Nähe von Gradoli in einsamer Lage mit wunderschönem Blick über den Lago di Bolsena. Weitläufiges Grundstück mit tollem Pool, Liegestühlen, Grillplatz und großem Tisch auf der überdachten Terrasse. Ausstattung perfekt, insbesondere in der Küche alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Sehr netter Kontakt zu den Gastgebern, die auch schöne Tipps für Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung parat hatten. Es ist genau so, wie in der Beschreibung und auf den Bildern. Für uns insgesamt ein perfekter Urlaub!

Traumhafte Erholung

Von der Begrüssung bis zur Verabschiedung hat hier alles hervorragend geklappt. Wer Ruhe sucht wird hier absolut fündig. Sofern man das Haus über Holperstrecke erreicht hat, eröffnet sich ein großzügiges, sehr natürlich angelegtes Grundstück, auf dem viele Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen angelegt sind. Der Blick auf den Bolsenasee und die gesamte Umgebung ist atemberaubend. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und man spürt den Charme und den Stil der Eigentümer. Nicht einfach nur eine funktionelle Ferienunterkunft, sondern ein persönlich eingerichtetes landestypisches Haus. Herzlichen Dank für die Möglichkeit eines erholsamen Urlaubs. We loved this place!

This place was perfect for us. We arranged to stay here for one night, which was a big mistake. We should have stayed here several days, making day trips to Pitigliano, Sovana, Civita, Saturnia, and anywhere else nearby we wanted to visit. This was the perfect place to relax, cook dinner, and relax some more. The grounds and the view were stunning. Equally important the host, Daniela, was helpful and easy to contact. She offered to meet us in Gradoli to show us how to get to the property. We thought we could easily find it on our own. Wrong! We got completely lost and ended up meeting her father, Serafino, in Gradoli. Lesson learned … meet them in Gradoli to begin with! Then it's a short drive to the property. Serafino was absolutely wonderful! It was a pleasure meeting him and talking with him about his life and the property. This is definitely a place we would return to.

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet,alles sauber und neu, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Vermieterin und ihre Familie waren sehr nett und aufmerksam. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein, man kann super entspannen und den Urlaub genießen.Der Pool ist klasse. Wir waren wirklich begeistert.

Einfach nur spitze

Das Haus liegt in Alleinlage auf einem großen Grundstück mit bestem Ausblick über den Bolsenasee - wirklich toll. Das Landhaus ist gut ausgestattet (grad auch die Küche alles da was man braucht), insgesamt liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat sehr schöne, wenn auch kleine Schlafzimmer und Bäder (haben das nur von außen zugänglichen Schlafzimmer nicht genutzt, das 2. Bad, das auch nur von außen zugänglich ist schon, dies ist auch ok, muss man halt raus - machte uns aber nix aus). Die Kinder haben im Wohnzimmer auf den beiden Schlafcouchen geschlafen, welche qualitativ auch gut waren. Aber das Beste ist der wundervolle, nagelneue Pool von dem aus man auch den herrlichen Blick genießen kann. Wir nutzten auch die vorhandene Grillstelle - super. Wenn man irgendwas bemängeln möchte, dann vielleicht die Bestuhlung auf der Veranda, die Kirchenbank zum Sitzen ist zwar originell, aber nicht sehr bequem. Also für ruhesuchende, die Wert auf ein ansprechendes Ambiente legen ist das genau der richtige Ort! Danke für eine tolle Urlaubswoche!

Casale da sogno

Settimana di ferie appena conclusa in uno dei più sereni ed ospitali luoghi dove ho potuto finora soggiornare. I proprietari ci hanno (eravamo in nove) fatto sentire davvero come a casa nostra, consigliandoci anche i posti da vedere e dove gustare le specialità della zona. Casale da sogno.

splendido soggiorno,purtroppo breve.Ci ha accolti la gentilissima signora Lidia e ci ha fatto subito sentire a casa...una meravigliosa casa immersa nel verde,tra uliveti e la vista del lago di bolsena:incantevole! che dire poi delle torte fatte in casa per la colazione !...ambiente curato e pulitissimo...perfetto per soggiornare nella quiete e nella natura...consigliatissimo !

Beautiful Country Home

Absolutely beautiful country home with stunning views of Lake Bolsena. Everything appears to be recently refurnished and modern, from the kitchen to the bedding. The decorations are very tastefully done and quite charming and cozy. We had a very comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts of our time here was waking up to the beautiful views of the lake which was about a ten minute walk away from the property. The landscape was also picturesque. The gardens and orchards and little chickens and ducks wandering around gave it a real Italian country feel. With that said, within 5-10 minutes you can be in the center of the little town of Gradoli which was very charming. It was nice to have our space but also to be able to go into town and enjoy the delicious Italian foods and wines and other amenities the town had to offer. Whenever I am back in this area of Italy, I will definitely be staying here. We were very accommodated and enjoyed our time immensely. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful property!
