Upstairs suite would be a PLUS PLUS for family gatherings as you have privacy in your own sitting area, etc up there. Would not recommend for someone with climbing issues/knees/hips etc as steps go up to the main floor and then lots of steps to top suite. But we are in our mid 70s and did NOT have any issues of same. Recommend this VRBO, we do. ”

“I can’t say enough good things about our stay here with my family of three. The house was super clean & smelled amazing when we walked in. I absolutely loved the layout, decor & the kitchen was equipped with pretty much anything you would need. The basement area with games was a nice treat for late evening. The location is perfect being in a cove but short distance ride out to the main channel next to the dam. I noticed the water is so much more clear on this end of the lake. My son & I……

“We actually weren't able to make it. The hurricane destroyed my families homes in Asheville and weren't able to leave. I hope to schedule a stay in the future. :) ”

“We had a great time at this lake house. The house itself was absolutely perfect for our stay, which included fishing for the men and lazy/relaxation for the ladies. The dock was perfect for our 24ft SeaArk (public boat ramp was about a 5-10 minute boat ride from the house) and came with built in boat bumpers. Fishing from the dock itself proved to be our 4 year-old's highlight of the trip. There were plenty of brim and blue gill. There is also a free public splashpad park about 5/10 minutes……
