「We thoroughly enjoyed our week in El Gastor. The house was as pictured, though unfortunately it was unseasonably cold so we could not use the pool. Instead, we got to enjoy a fire most nights! The view across the valley is gorgeous, and the mountain peak just behind the house is also beautiful. We visited Olvera, Grazalema, Zahara, Setinil de las Bodegas, and Ronda; all nearby and easily accessible by car. We rented bikes in Olvera and cycled the Via Verde, and we hiked to the dolmen just up...

「Pasamos un fin de semana donde nos coincidió con el belén viviente y recomiendo visitar el pueblo, estaba súper bonito y puedes ir andando desde la casa, quizás la subida es algo más cansada por la cuesta pero igualmente se hace, en la casa lo único que ecahmos de menos es algo más de calefacción, excepto la chimenea del salón, en el resto de habitaciones se pasa frio en invierno, hay una chimenea en el salón de arriba pero no se podía poner. El lugar nos encantó, sin duda para repetir」

El dueño nos recibió con una botella de vino de bienvenida y tenía café e infusiones a nuestra disposición. La verdad es que hemos disfrutado mucho de la zona y de la maravillosa piscina.」

「Had a wonderful time in Maribel's villa. Really comfortable for the whole family. The pool area is amazing. So nice to have a covered seating area to relax in as well as the sun loungers. And the pool is just fabulous. Maribel was so fast with her reply to any query. Beautiful part of Spain too with it's gorgeous hilltop towns and delicious food. Had a day trip to both Ronda and Cadiz. Would highly recommend to all.」

「La casa preciosa y limpia. José Miguel nos facilitó bastante información sobre la zona. A mejorar, la puerta de entrada, la del patio y la ventana de la escalera, pues entra mucho frío y no se mantiene el calor de la chimenea. También debería cambiar la grifería del lavabo. Por lo demás, pasamos un buen fin de semana a pesar del apagón general eléctrico que hubo en toda la zona el sábado por la noche,」

「The villa is spacious, comfortable, basic accomodation but well equiped and with a lovely private pool and garden to relax in. Plenty of private parking and a nice oputdoor eating area just outside the kitchen. The location is quiet with other similar villas along the access lane but apart from a few other people we didn't see or hear them at all. There are chickens and roosters nearby though who crow randomly and quite a few dogs barking and howling at times, although we didn't see them....

「We booked a 3 bedroom apartment but only 2 were available. We had to rearrange the sleeping spaces to make it work. WE found the kitchen was small and not easy to work in so we ended up eating our more than planned. Great location and present housekeeper. Clean and Tidy」

「We totally enjoyed our stay at the property. It was exactly what we hoped for - rustic and a little bit quirky but also it had everything that we needed for a relaxing and totally enjoyable stay. Joanna is a lovely host and a very interesting person. Of course, Osso and Ella (here two dogs) are adorable and the two cats paid us regular visits too. 「The kitchen stove is a joke , can't fry an egg. Kitchen too small. No service, whatsapp only if you need help. But the good news is , its very close to all the attractions 」
