“Not the apartment I was expecting but very nice nonetheless - had expected ground floor apartment as travelling with older relative who has some mobility issues - access via very steep stairs. We were lucky with street parking but this could be an issue, probably best to book parking with landlord for extra cost. Older relative would have appreciated non-slip mat in shower. Ideal for 4 people, Murphy bed at end of large lounge/kitchen with screening for privacy and second shower/loo. Would……

“Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. “This property was basic but perfectly comfortable and in a stunning location! The lane to the property was very over geown and unfortunately my husbands car (which has low clearance) was unable to get down it. But the owner soon dorted an alternative for us. The neighbours ford focus had bo problems so i would say this wont be a problem for most! Access down to views over the estuary and walks from the house was great. No wifi but perfectly good signal for 4g - or a good excuse to go off grid.……

“Property was nice enough, location good and the pub opposite was lovely. The company that run the property though are terrible. Sykes Cottages trying to scam us out of money for property damage that is unreasonable and without evidence. They send a message via their website that has no way of responding to except for Whatsapp. But no one monitors or replies via whatsapp. ”

“The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, comfy, cosy, well situated and an absolute gem! Go no further than Frinton Escapes! My first time and the cottage was ideal. Close to ALL amenities in a close, so quiet but everything on its doorstep. Great history behind it too. If you do t go, you will be the loser! ”
