"Very good experience. A warm welcome + parking slot in the street, individual rooms and separated toilets+bathroom… all included in a well refurbished house…. Breakfast is nice with the possibility to speak with other guests…. I will for sure come back if this is possible "

"We had a fantastic stay at this place. The owners were really welcoming and the place was calm and quiet with a nice atmosphere. The highlights were the 5 course dinners and breakfasts in the garden. "

"Fleksible med ankomsttid og meget hjælpsomme."

"We stayed one night to break up a long drive, and from check-in to check-out, we were totally happy with the experience. Highly recommended!"

"Tout est très propre et entretenu .Le couchage parfait, de bonne qualité. Le service du petit déjeuner très complet. Quand à la maîtresse de maison, elle est très accueillante, gentille et de bons conseils. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. "

"Overall, I had a good experience staying at this hotel. The location was convenient, and the room was comfortable. The staff were helpful, and the facilities were decent."

"The reviews online rave about the very nice rooms. The reviews and hotel info do not make clear that arriving with a car is very difficult logistically. The hotel boat is moored where there is only a pedestrian footpath. There is no where close by to drop the bags for easy access, many meters from where cars are allowed. "Excellent host, great location.Very friendly and would tell our friends about our stay. "

"Absolutely incredible stay. The property is stunning. Beautiful and comfortable room and relaxing atmosphere. Owners are very kind. Great for families. "

"Attention L'hôte mentionnne sur le site que le petit dejeuner est offert Il n'en est rien on vous demandera un supplément de 15€ pour y avoir droit ,une fois que vous aurez réservé. Pas correct du tout ,il faut au moins enlever la mention " petit déjeuner offert " sur l'annonce "

"We loved our stay at Effect Lodge. Our room overlooked the back side of the property, including the pool. Great views and an open feel in our large room. The host was so gracious and helpful. She recommended public transportation for our visit to Old Lyon, and it worked out perfectly. She also provided direction in getting our laundry taken care of. In many ways, staying at Effect felt like being at home. Highly recommend this property!"

"‘This is not a hotel’ is the first thing the hostess told us when she first called. The villa indeed is their own home and this is made very clear during our stay. The hostess treated our kids as a strict schoolteacher and to top it all off at the end of the evening also yelled upstairs that we were playing with the heating, which we were not. In the Summer this place might be nicer with the outside pool but in the winter this would not be suitable for a family vacation. Price and quality do...

"Résidence de charme, au calme avec une vue magnifique sur les environs de Lyon. La cuisine est 100% bio, très appréciable. Un moment d’évasion que nous avons apprécié !"
