Relaxing Romantic Honeymoon
Boathouse is a warm and welcoming hotel. The staff were nice. The location was excellent! Near airport and accessible by cars (hotels uphill like Oia or Imergovi, not so accessible, many stairs, roads were narrow...). And most importantly, the environment was so relaxing. Waken up by the sounds of sea waves, at night thousands of stars when viewed from the beach. Just outside your balcony, it's the romantic blue sea. You will love it!

Unfortunately for us the flight arrived late, but someone waited for us at the hotel and everything was fine! There is free parking a few hundred meters away. This hotel is beachfront and very close to the airport and all day you can see planes arriving and departing, but it's not that annoying. Continentals must remember that everywhere on the island it is not possible to throw toilet paper directly into the toilet! We had a large room with a patio, front pool and sea view. The pool is very relaxing with very comfortable sunbeds and the hotel even provides towels! There is also a bar. Every morning you can enjoy a high-quality breakfast directly in front of the swimming pool. All the employees are very friendly and you will love them all! Just outside the hotel you can find many restaurants, markets, shops with really everything you need and more. This is a great location with a car to visit the whole island avoiding crowded Fira or a little less Oia without missing the lovely little Eros beach to the south. You have to go!

Lovely hotel would recommend
The staff are amazing very very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, loved the bathrooms. The rooms at the back are dark, no tvs not that it bothered me just never had that before. The airplane noise is excessive and intruding but that is the only negative. Beach is right in front and so many wonderful restaurants

Thank you Sheila for your review, we appreciate your feedback.We would again like to stress to review readers and possible new guests that as stated previously numerous times we do not advertise TV and we will never get TVs in our small 17 room hotel as the peace and atmosphere just wouldn't be the same with 17 TVs on. Also, yes our back rooms (Non-Sea view Economy Rooms) are a little darker and less expensive then the Sea view Rooms. We have many returner guests who prefer the back rooms as they are cooler in the hot periods... Sheila visited in October so for more light we would suggest the more expensive Sea view Rooms.Sincerely, The Boathouse, Santorini

Het is een mooi ontworpen hotel gebouwd door de eigenaar met vriendelijk personeel. Te weinig stop contacten maar vroeger hadden ze ook geen opladers. Ontbijt is fantastisch. Vanaf half 8 tot 21 uur komen er vliegtuigen over maar eigenlijk heb je daar, na een dag, weinig last van.

Stunning Santorini Stay at the Boathouse
I cannot recommend this hotel enough!! The room was huge and spacious with 2 fiubke doors opening onto a big balcony with fabulous views of the pool and beach, it was amazing! Location was perfect and we were steps away from numerous fab restaurants. Breakfast was delicious each morning, made to order and the staff were very friendly and always helpful with any requests. Absolutely stunning, will definitely be recommending to friends! 😊

Lovely Hotel, the Breakfast was amazing they could not do enough for you. It is also in a great location right on the front strip but at the end so you do not get all the noise. So glad we picked this place and would go back.

Wir haben uns sowas von wohl gefühlt. Hier ist einfach alles perfekt. Angefangen von dem frisch auf Bestellung zubereiteten super leckeren Frühstück, der gepflegten paradiesischen Anlage bis hin zum hilfsbereiten freundlichen Personal. Die ganze Familie ist eingespannt und immer gut gelaunt für alle Fragen offen. Es gibt eine poolbar, die auch kleine Snacks anbietet und Musik in angenehmer Lautstärke. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Strandpromenade mit vielen' Restaurants und kleinen Läden zum Shoppen. Wir können das Hotel und die Gegend zu 100 Prozent empfehlen. Wir haben schon unseren nächsten Urlaub gebucht.

Hotel tres propre avec piscine, bien aménagé, bien décoré. face à la plage. Tres calme à cette période mais encore plus agréable pour un séjour en couple. De grandes chambres bien fonctionnelles. Propriétaire tres agréable et de bons conseils. Vraiment avons été choyés pendants ces 5 jours. Même une chambre de prêt pour le dernier jour pour garder bagages, se changer et prendre une douche avant de partir. Merci encore pour ce beau moment. Petit déjeuner de grande qualité avec produits frais servis sur la plage, top. Je recommande et y retournerais avec plaisir

A perfect time
Amazing stay for such great value. The staff were brilliant and the location for us was perfect. Everyone gave us such useful information of what to see whilst we were there and breakfast on the beach every day was the cherry on top of the cake! The rooms were really clean and the shower was amazing.

A great summer holiday
The hotel was nicely situated at the seafront, with several rooms having a sea view. The owners Diane and Spyros were amazing hosts, always ready with advice for days out and no special request at breakfast was too much to be fulfilled. We visited during the Covid 19 pandemic and were completely at ease with all steps taken to ensure guest safety. We recommend the Boathouse Hotel for anyone wishing to have a relaxed and enjoyable holiday.

Nothing was unique at all! The beds where so squeaky I didn't sleep for 4 nights and checked out early! Diane IS NOT a good host when I told her anout the beds she walked away! Wished I had never booked. Cats and local dogs drink from the swimming pool

No frills place but the room was comfortable. The breakfast could have been better. The bacon and eggs are very under cooked. The staff was very helpful but the owners had left on vacation right after we arrived. They left their daughter in charge but the problem was she didn’t arrive till 10 o’clock in the morning and left early in the evening so there was no one to really help you if you wanted to rent a car or arrange a trip from the hotel. The location was wonderful and the outdoor seating area and landscape beautiful.

The rental car agency is just down the road (which is very easy to find) as well as the tour agency (we had spoke of both of these when you were asking about your international's drivers licence) and usually requires the car/tour to be booked from the evening before. We have 3 lovely breakfast girls (Barbara, Anna and Selma) that are at the hotel from 7am who can help guests with anything they desire. Sincerely, Diane and Spyros Zorzos

Come to stay as a guest, leave feeling like family. Beautiful property that's postcard worthy. Only hotel with an open beach space so beautiful views of the ocean and the island of anafi. The bar attracts a crowd and on top of quality alcohol you're served with great stories and local knowledge.

We wanted trip adviser readers to understand that the Internet on all of Santorini is difficult as we are a small Island with older technology and with increased tourism over the past few years the system just is not enough, the local government does say that they will be improving the service to Santorini but that has not yet happened, as soon as it does we will of course pay for the maximum internet allowed (as we do now). P.S. We do not advertise that we have TVs nor will we ever have TVs in our rooms. Sincerely, The Boathouse Team
