「Overall the property was exactly as advertised. The cottage was clean and roomy enough for 3. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen area could use some better lighting. The back deck looked pretty new but there was no seating on it. One important thing to know is there are no restaurants in the area open on Monday night which is the one night we stayed! We had to drive 15-20 minutes into Newland to find food. The location was good for access to Linville Falls.」

「Do not be fooled by the lack of reviews. This property was amazing. My boyfriend and I booked a short week stay and it was not enough. The host was readily available to answer all our questions and communicated where everything was in the cabin, down to the light switches. There is everything you could need. 「The cabin is very spacious and clean. It has everything you need including kitchen supplies, entertainment ( movies and games), bedding, and a wonderful porch. It is located in a very secure area close to Linville Falls and Caverns. Our host Greg responded very quickly to all of our questions. I would highly recommend for any family event or retreat.」

「The cabin was perfect for a couple to visit little Switzerland. Not to far from town or the blue ridge parkway. If you are on a motorcycle the gravel road is not to bad , it had rained hard one day washing some rutts in road. But not to bad. Cabin had everything you could want. Kitchen had pots and pans , cups and a dishwasher. Also a bbq pit outside. Hot tub was perfect, just turn the temperature up when you first get there.」

「This was our first time at this property and overall we enjoyed the quiet remoteness. Although traffic from the local road could be heard it wasn't heavy. We enjoyed seeing the deer everday. There were some challenges; first if you have a large truck with a trailer (bike riding) the drive has no room for turning around. 「This sweet little cabin was the perfect answer to our need to get out of the noisy city for the weekend; it was so peaceful. Property was clean and easy to access. The bed has an extra firm mattress, so if you are used to softer ones, this may be an issue. We slept fine both nights. Easy check in and out process. Will definitely come back!」

「Sally was a wonderful host. The cabin was so cozy and adorable. Having our coffee on the porch in the morning was the perfect way to start the day. I had never been to the area before so Sally made some nice suggestions. We stopped by Davey Crockett park which was a very interesting and very pretty stroll. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Limestone or Jonesborough area.」
