酒店內有SPA設施，雖然要收費，但是價錢接受，還有Aurora Floating,今次沒有緣試看，留待下次。 酒店還有聊天室、電視房丶休閒娛樂廳。在休閒娛樂㕔中有酒水丶小食提供，但要收費，除了咖啡、朱古力奶是免費提供，還有自制Waffle 是免費，要到下午茶時間才供應。酒店提供喚醒客人看Aurora 服務，（在Aurora 期間）只要你有要求，他們照辨。 還有酒店也提供免費在Blue Lagoon接送。也提供安排機場接送，要收費，但酒店會打折。 酒店餐廳環境氣氛很好，晚餐食物美味、上碟不錯。 早餐沒有想像中的多類，亦算可接受。 酒店雖然外觀平庸，但應有盡有，真的很不錯。 酒店價錢有點貴，但算值。如果可以有優惠推廣，會訂幾晚來充充電。

酒店服務很好,當我到達才早上七點，酒店應該在下午3點才能入住，但剛好有房，服務員也體諒，安排我入住，可以補一覺，很窩心，酒店亦專門有一寬敞室內大房，可覌賞极光，免到室外受寒冷之苦，很棒

The hotel which near the power plant
The hotel is good, cozy and comfortable. We arrived hotel late so that we only sleep in the room rather than enjoying facilities. When we arrived our room we had a little upset because our room was near the stair and no light installed outside the room which made us feel not good. The power plant was close to hotel and some white smoke was continuously remitted. Definitely NO any noise or bad smell from the power plant. The staff is nice and willing to book the blue lake for you with no surcharge

Hi Jerry, many thanks for your review. There are actually lights in front of rooms 11 and 12 but we shut down these lights if we see the northern lights as we want to avoid any light pollution. We do hope that you will be back with us again, one day.

Unhappy experience
When I was back from the blue lagoon, just want to have a bath quickly, but I discovered that the shower was out of work. Then I asked for help. He came and tried to fix it but not work, then asked me to wait for a FEW minutes, he will be back soon, so I wait. But OVER 15 minutes, still can't see anyone come back, then I make a call to front desk, and someone told me that man was going out to pick somebody up, so ask me to wait 5 minutes more. I felt angry. After 5 minutes, he came back with one more colleague, and two men tried to fix the shower, still not work. And he asked me to wait again and he went to call his boss. OK, then I wait. Finally he came with his boss, they checked again and maybe try to fix, anyway finally the shower fixed, and the boss explained that because ME turned it too much that makes it out of work, I get angry at that moment! How come you can blame me on that? The facilities out of work is the problem of your hotel! How come you can blame your customer?! This makes me feel so unhappy. Although other service is fairly good, include the arrangement of booking shuttle bus and the front desk service. And I know that this maybe a specific incident of me, but base on this unhappy experience, I wont recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were trying to explain why the shower did not work. This is sometime difficult when both parties don't have English as their mother language. In no way, was our intention to blame you for the situation with the shower, and we are sorry if you felt that way. We are also sorry not to have met your expectation and that you felt unhappy. At the same time we are happy to hear that you were happy with our service at the front desk and our speedy reply in emails for your inquires. We do hope that you did enjoy your stay in Iceland.

Average accommodation close to blue lagoon
Close to Blue lagoon however the Power plant close by spoils the atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and the inn has a Nice lounge area. Beds are confortable and the rooms are comparatively large. Parts of the inn need a refirbishment. The name “Northern light inn” can be deceiving as I don’t think it would be easy to see the lights considering the light pollution around the inn.

This place is great. We stayed just one night for a stopover in Iceland on our way back from Spain. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is great, and the 24-hour honesty bar is a nice touch. The free shuttle to and from the blue lagoon is very useful. Would recommend.

The location and views were awful. The hotel is located adjacent to a geothermal power plant. I would not recommend this hotel. I think it is over priced for the location, room quality and general amenities.

Clean, friendly staff, very good restaurant, within walking distance of Blue Lagoon. A car is must if staying more than one night as, except for the Blue Lagoon, there is nothing near by.

The property gives off a roadside motel vibe. It's situated directly beside a major power station. The room design feels cold, lacks warmth. It is impractical for extended stays. While the restaurant is decent, it doesn't stand out. The staff is pleasant and makes a genuine effort. However, I don't foresee a return visit.

Wonderful staff, friendly helpful reception, cosy lounge with an honesty bar. Good size rooms. Max’s restaurant was great, good quality food. If you are going to the Blue Lagoon, it’s incredibly close. Dont be put out off by the geothermal power station, or the ugly lava rock that surrounds the hotel, it’s just what it is. Great local things to go an experience from steam vents, bubbling mud pools, and a great hike to the mouth of the lava flow from July 2023.
