"This is such a beautiful hotel perched high on the hills with a fantastic view of Mývatn lake below. The hotel is exquisite and luxurious. The rooms were comfy and spacious. There is a restaurant and good selections for a paid breakfast. It's close to the attractions. Get there early as parking is limited."
"This is a great place with a kind staff. You are very close to all the things to see in the area. The working farm was fun to see while we ate breakfast. We would 100% stay here again."
"Our best stay in Iceland in this hotel ; very friendly staff; excellent breakfast ; hot tub . We had a very relaxing stay ; highly recommend this place "
"This cabin is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Host/Team is very responsive in helping us with the check-in etc.
Very functional home - easy to cook and wash up in the kitchen the Icelandic chocolate snack is a thoughtful touch. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, olive oil are provided in the kitchen.
Bathroom & bedroom is clean.
It was quiet and secluded for us during our stay there as nobody was using the campsite at that point of time.
Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay there - it has good space for 2 and kitchen prep space is bigger than other cabins we’ve stayed. Very functional and clean thank you!"
"Can’t beat the location when it comes to accessing all the incredible naturalistic beauty in the area. Easy check-in and good place to rest for two nights. A bit noisy with the thin walls, but thats what you come to expect when staying at guesthouses. Worth it for the price!"
Appreciate a view of the impressive horseshoe shape of the Waterfall of the Gods and go hiking alongside the foamy rapids of the Skjálfandafljót River.
